A late 19th century gentleman's unmarked yellow metal signet ring, with Lapis shield shaped intaglio flanked by knot shoulders, unmarked, 7.8g Size O. Condition Report: Believe it to be gold, no hallmarks present however there is a patch to the inner rim suggesting it has been tested, signs that it has been re-sized (possibly resulting in the hallmarks being removed). Some indentations and rubbing to the metal (mostly on the back). Some light scratches and small knocks consistent with age and usage.
An Edwardian green glass oil lamp, the fluted shade etched with flowerheads and leafy branches, the burner marked British Made, above fluted green reservoir, on pierced tapering cooper coloured base cast with medallions and swags, 57cm high Condition Report: There is a very small oval-shaped surface crack (to frosted ground, lower part of shade) and this may be the remnants of a burst air bubble, there is a surface scratch that runs diagonally across part of the shade, the rims with some typical and very minor chipping/roughness. The green shade has a pleasing iridescence when light shines through it. Some surface wear to brass/gilt finish to metal burner, the British Made dials are stiff and partially functioning. Some wear to base.
A pair of Japanese Meiji period (1868-1912) cloisonne vases, each slender oviform example decorated with trailing wisteria-type flowers in purple and white with green leaves, 18.5cm high Condition Report: Neck of one vase shows some surface scratching, the other with a couple of flea bite chips to its base. Light crazing in places, overall condition however appears to be good with obvious signs of major damage or repair.
A Belgian brass adjustable ceiling light, early 20th century, the twin-light horizontal branch cast with Key-pattern suspending two opaque shades, with two stiff leaf cast urns and four adjusting wheels, with cord, electrified, the central brass branch 50cm wide (exc. shades) Condition Report: Shades circa 22cm diameter each, height 7.5cm. A Victorian Aesthetic Movement figured walnut and ebonised card table, the fold-over top with swivel action, opening to reveal baize lined playing surface, the whole with blind carving, w.92cm, d.45cm, h.72cmCondition report: The top with several scratches and dot indentations, clearly visible when caught in the light.Areas of bubbling to veneers at corners, and large scratch to front right corner.Rough areas to ebonised band on top, possibly would previously have been inlaid.Baize is split and frayed along the join, stained and needs replacing.Split to one hinge.Further bubbles to veneer around edges.The usual knocks and scuffs to legs and feet.
