The frame with general wear at edges with some loss to the gesso, this is more so at the corners. The gilt frame is lightly grubby throughout.

The right hand panel with some rusting and a small hole which has appeared towards the centre section. Other general age wear, scratches and scuffs. The back panel may not be original and there are a series of holes in the panel near the upper shelf, in a 3 x 3 cm section.

Traces of engraved detailing visible on the back. Light age wear patina to the centre and two slight ‘dinks’ to the middle. The boarder with many small holes in the scroll detailing and some knocks.
Four modern hallmarked silver photograph frames, all Edinburgh 2000, comprising a rectangular example with serpentine border, another rectangular example embossed with bowtied floral swags, a heart shaped example and another profusely decorated with cherubs, scrolls and flowers, the tallest 21.5cm.Additional InformationAll with general rubbing through polishing and light age wear at the edges, the floral swag example perhaps with heavier rubbing and a few light scratches and knocks to the left hand side.

Additional InformationThe marks on the shell backed examples are slightly rubbed and misshapen, light scratches, scuffs, two of the handles with engraved initials.

Light surface wear throughout and general toning and tarnishing. The hallmark is clear to the lid and readable also to the body.

DEAKIN & FRANCIS; a George V hallmarked silver tea canister of octagonal form with pierced lid centred with an armorial inscribed 'Et Dieu Mon Appu', Birmingham 1927, height 9.5cm, approx. 4.73ozt/147.2g.Additional InformationFree from any further engraved detail. A couple of tiny pin head sized dents to the body. Light surface scratches and toning throughout. Clear hallmarks and overall a good example.
GEORGE JOHN RICHARDS; a Victorian hallmarked silver mustard, with blue glass liner, with engraved initial ‘B’ to the lid and floral detailing, London 1854, height 7cm, with an associated silver mustard spoon with matching ‘B’ initial, 3.5ozt/120g (2).Additional InformationThe edge of the mustard by the spoon aperture is slightly knocked. A couple of slight knocks to the base. Light surface wear. Glass liner with a few small chips at rim. Spoon slightly bent and with a scratched bowl.
An Austrian sterling silver and black enamel compact of shaped circular form and decorated with foliate motifs, stamped to the gilt interior '066 Made in Austria Sterling Silver', diameter approx 5.5cm, together with three hallmarked silver napkin rings and a white metal pin dish (5).Additional InformationThe compact with a couple of little nicks to the enamel and a few light scratches, but otherwise ok. The napkin rings with general tarnishing and some rubbing. The pin dish with general rubbing and minor age wear.

Light toning and tarnishing throughout with some light surface scratches but overall OK.
