One with two small chips to cover. The other with three small chips to tassels on applied ropes. Both with light gilt handling wear.

Weight 1138g. The whole with age wear, light metal fatigue, and very minor dents. Unpolished.

D McGregor & Co two-day marine chronometer, No.7984, the 4" silvered dial signed 'D McGregor & Co, maker to the Admiralty, Glasgow, Greenoch, Liverpool, London', having Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds dial, and up-down dial, the whole in lacquered brass gimbals with fixing arm and original winding key, the mahogany case being brass bound and with further sunken brass carry handles, w.18cm Condition Report / Extra Information Case with fine split and some veneers creases to top. Key not numbered but appears original. Brass caps to case appear re-lacquered. Some age / handling wear to case, but basically good. Glass good. Dial with minor tarnishing to edges, otherwise good. Gimble good with some light tarnishing to top edge. Clock movement winds well but not running. We cannot remove the back.
A circa 1810 John Rose Coalport Japan pattern dessert service, each piece decorated in the Imari palette and heightened in gilt with a willow tree and two blue rocks within a fenced garden, with radiating panel border, comprising; twelve dessert plates, five oval dishes, one kidney shaped dish, one square dish, one oval pedestal bowl, and a pair of plates (22) Condition Report / Extra Information Kidney shaped dish - no apparent faults. Oval dishes - no apparent faults. Square dish - significant giltwear to border, otherwise gilt with some light rubbing only. Two side plates - one with major giltwear and two chips to rim, the other with lighter giltwear to edge, significant crazing and some discolouration. Pedestal oval bowl - some giltwear to top rim in places. Twelve plates - one with small chip to underside of rim, one with very small chip to top rim which has been gilded over, all with light handling wear.

Left hand cherub to base of mirror with hairline to both arms. Some spotting to mirror. Paint good. Gilt good. Light handling wear and grubby.
