A 19th Century pastel artwork depicting a portrait of a young woman looking out towards the viewer wearing a dress draped flirtatiously over her shoulder and a hat with flowers. The artist has used a light pastel colour palette of blues and pinks. Set within an elaborate spandrel gold frame with floral decoration. Measuring approx 78cm x 66cm.
A pair of 19th century Victorian revival lounge fireside library armchairs. Mahogany construction with carved fleur de lys to central, back rest and seat having padded cushioned seat in a light blue material. Further carved decoration to elbow rests and shaped legs terminating on castors. Measures approx 105 x 80 x 60 cm.
A retro 1970's hand blown studio art glass table lamp light in the manner of Mdina. Of splayed cylindrical free formed glass made from colours taken from the surrounding sea and landscape of the Mediterranean. In a blue & green colourway, with brass fixing to top with cream lamp shade. Measures approx. 56cm (height).
Royal Marines Egypt Medal with clasps for Suakin 1885 and Tofrek, named to Cpl C H Kybett, R.M.L.I. and Khedive's Star (undated). Charles Henry Kybett was born in Rochester, Kent in 1867 and enlisted in the Royal Marine Light Infantry January 1880. Shown as 'Royal Marine Battalion Egypt' for Suakin. He was discharged 1901 and applied to be a Subordinate Officer, Prisons Department, England June 1901, serving at Parkshurst Prison 1902-1907. He died on the Isle of Wight 1908.

All of the items inspected are first quality. This has been formed from two services, one of which has seen light and the other which is completely unused. From the sample and principal items inspected (e.g. tureens, coffee pots there are no damages or repairs. One vegetable tureen has some staining to the interior. The gilding and decoration are in good condition with no obvious scratches. One small coffee cup chipped.

An Ami Jukebox Model JBH-120, circa 1957 Serial number 381893, with nickel/dime, quarter and half dollar plays, 120 45rpm record selection (60 x 2) from a drum carousel, the horizontal turntable and selection list behind automobile-style bowed viewing window, the main body embellished in copper and chrome below push-button panel to the front (coin mechanism is disabled), together with approximately 200 45rpm rock and pop singles. 86cm wide x 70cm deep x 153cm highPlease note: This lot will require a suitable vehicle with tail lift for removal. Footnote:AMI Began in 1909 as the National Automatic Music Co. which manufactured automatic player pianos. The mechanism used to select the music rolls was adapted for use in jukeboxes. This mechanism was the first to play both sides of a record. The same concept was used for the next 30 years, increasing the number of records over time. Following WWII the company was renamed the Automatic Musical Instrument Company. The model-H was launched in 1957 featuring a new selection mechanism and 'automobile styling' - with wrap-around glass and chrome front 'fenders'. AMI was purchased by the Automatic Canteen Company in 1962, merging it with Canteen's subsidiary Rowe AC Services (Coin Op Vending Machine Company). Condition:The machine does work and play but is a little temperamental and will benefit from servicing. The record selector keys will need attention as they are out of sync. Drive belt is functioning but a little vulcanised and would benefit from replacement. Case is very good with only minor cosmetic marks consistent with age and use. Small area of flaking to chrome on front fender. Top light diffuser present but detatched and with splits to screw holes.
A group of English porcelain and bone china, early and mid 19th centuries, comprising a pair of candlesticks, attributed to Ridgway (Cauldon Place) circa 1820-30, of columnar form with a light green ground and gilt-lined highlights, the base decorated with three floral panels, numbered 3613 in iron red, 15.5cm high; a vase, circa 1820, the dark blue ground painted with two opposing floral panels, with Turk's Head handles, unmarked, 20cm high (restored), a Chamberlain's Worcester bud vase, the cobalt ground nicely decorated with a still life of flowers and raised gilding, unmarked, 16cm high; a further smaller bud vase, decorated with flowers, 8cm high, a Staffordshire miniature basket, painted with flowers, 10cm wide; a Coalport trinket or cosmetics pot and cover, 9.5cm diameter; a Flight, Barr and Barr pen tray, 24.5cm wide (restored); and a further larger tray, of twin shell-handled form, decorated with flowers, unmarked, 27cm (9)Condition:Chamberlains pen tray is restored. One candlestick has some staining and crazing to the top.Taller vase has some staining, hairlines to base and probably rebolted.Bottle vase with wear to gilded foot.No other damages.
Luigi Massoni for Guzzini: a Large mushroom table lamp, circa 1970 Wide opaque shade of mushroom shape with a central light source for an E27 lightbulb. Three additional light sources around the foot directly under the shade for E14 lightbulbs of a maximum of 40W. Stamped iGuzzinispa at the bottom. Approximately 40cm high x 45cm wide for the shade Condition:Wear commensurate with age. Scuffs and marks visible on the foot. Black coloration under the shade left by lightbulbs. The electric cord has been severed and the lamp will require complete rewiring by a qualified professional. The original wiring would have come with a multi switch allowing separate lighting of the top and below lights.
A Davenport part coffee service, circa 1870-86, decorated in the Persian style with simulated red jewels in gold borders to the rims above a roof tile-style band in gilt, blue and red, comprising six coffee cups and thirteen saucers, both the underglaze blue 'Davenport' anchor and puce printed crown standard marks to the bases, pattern 3116 (19) (minor damages)Provenance: Bibby family at Fachwen, near Mold.Condition:Saucers - One badly cracked, another with a long hairline.Cups - Some gilt wear to the lower section of a couple of handles. One cup badly cracked and stained, another with a hairline to the interior. Some light spots of yellow staining to the interiors.
A group of Coalport, early 19th century, comprising an embossed teacup and matching dessert plate, circa 1815-20, decorated with central embossed flowers and gilding in a relief-moulded cobalt border painted with panels of flowers, unmarked, plate 21.7cm diameter; together with a teacup and saucer, circa 1810, profusely painted with birds, flowers and gilt, unmarked, teacup 6.5cm high; another smaller plate with foliate panels to the border flanked by raised embossed foliage, unmarked, 19.5cm diameter; five similar Coalport plates, circa 1805-10, painted with an exterior border of trailing pink roses and gilt foliage, the interior cobalt ground decorated in gilt with further foliage and grapes, single pink rose to the centre, unmarked, 21.5cm - 24cm diameter; and three further plates, nicely decorated with flowers, cobalt borders and extensive gilding (13) Condition:Some rubbing to the gilding on the London-decorated teacup. Smaller embossed panel border plate with some rubbing, crazing and some light staining to the underside. Coalport rose plates - One plate with crazing to the glaze, the others with some kiln grit. One plate with a hairline crack to the foot rim and a shallow front-facing glaze chip, approximately 6mm wide. One of the larger plates (without the broader cobalt interior) has a hairline to the underside.Some slight gilt/decoration wear. No other damages or repairs.
C15a Iceland Expedition Signed by Karl-Heinz Marbach U boat Commander U - 101 U Boat Series Karl-Heinz Marbach Knights Cross holder, began his naval career in April 1937. He served for some months in 1939 on the light cruisers Leipzig and Nürnberg. Before transferring to the U-boat force in autumn 1940, he spent a year in a staff position. After U-boat training he was assigned to U -101(Cdr Ernst Mengersen). Marbach was aboard U-101 from March to November 1941, during which Mengersen sank three ships. Marbach took command of her himself for a month, leaving in February 1942. After a short commander training course, Marbach was given command of school boats U - 28 and U -29. In December 1942 he commissioned the Type V11C U-boat U - 953. After seven patrols he was awarded the Knights Cross for acts of bravery. While he was in Berlin to receive his decoration from the BdU (Commander in Chief U-boats), US troops encircled the U-boat base at Brest. Oblt. Herbert A Werner took command of U - 953, while Marbach went to the A G Weser shipyard in Bremen to commission one of the new type XX1 Elektro U-boat Elektro boats. He commissioned U -3014 in December 1944, but the boat never saw active service, and he scuttled her on 3 May. Following the German surrender in May 1945, he remained a PoW until February 1948, being among the last U-boat men to be released Enclosed 5 Black and White Photo's Cover number 47 of 48 in U Boat Series And cover no 50 of Only 100 covers.
