JAMES WILKS; a pair of George III hallmarked silver serving spoons, London 1784 and 1786, length 20.5cm, approx 3.9ozt/123.5g.Additional InformationHallmarks clear to both, very slightly obscured to one date letter, almost appears that they could be double drop spoons but this may have worn away, light surface wear to the bowls but the bowls themselves are not too badly misshapen.
A 20th century brass carriage clock with painted dial and side panels, the back plate inscribed 'Deacon, Swindon' and numbered 0065, height 12.5cm.Additional InformationWe suspect this is a mid-late 20th century example, there is some tarnishing to the brass, the balance wheel is moving freely, general surface wear and some light pitting throughout.
HENRY MAIDMENT (FL.1885-1914); oil on relined canvas, rural landscape with figure and dog before a duck pond with thatched cottage beyond, signed with initials lower left, 50 x 75cm, framed.Additional InformationAs detailed, the canvas has been relined, there is light craquelure, there is some touch up and overpainting to the image, there are a few small losses to the gilt frame.
