Craquelure, some surface blistering. Small patched hole. Lower margins with some scuffs from the gilt inset. Could benefit from being re-stretched over stretchers. Contemporary gilt cavetto frame with some light wear and losses.

Along with a multicoloured example reading 'Elizabeth Lightfoot, Aged 10 Years December 9th 1853'. Both unbleached by light due to being unframed and glazed. Largest measures 41cm x 32cm.
