An early pressing of The Beatles debut LP 'Please Please Me' in Mono with black and gold Parlophone labels, XEX 421-1 N stampers and Dick James Music Company credits. Vinyl is VG with some light scratches and a deeper scratch on track 1 side A. Spindle marks to centre hole. Sleeve is torn and stained to reverse, bent to bottom left corner on front. Not original inner sleeve.
dating: circa 1900 provenance: Caucasia, Strong, straight, double-edged blade, with central fuller, with long tang with double fuller and three, enameled disks. Silver grip, engraved and nielloed with floral motifs. Cap with filigree decoration of Turkish style, with a small, leather lace. Cylindrical, silver scabbard, engraved and nielloed en suite. Provided with light, leather whip. length dagger 35,7 cm.
dating: circa 1900 provenance: Ethiopia, Wide, curved, single-and short false-edged blade, engraved for two thirds with floral motifs, decorated with a net, effigy of Negus on one side, Judah Lion on the other. Big, light-horn hilt of typical shape (small parts missing), almost flat cap, made of a silver, Austrian coin. Complete with leather scabbard. length 94 cm.
dating: first quarter of the 18th Century provenance: Poland, Made of light horn, carved with the crowned coat-of-arms of the noble Radzivills family above the Order Virtuti Militari on a side, and with trophies on the other, both decorations surrounded by curls; fish-head-shaped fuse; amber plaques at the base with hunting scene (a dog chasing a deer). length 26 cm.
dating: circa 1900 provenance: Caucasia, Straight, double-edged blade with double, central fuller, front surface with remains of gold-inlaid flowers. Grip with light horn grip scales. Iron studs, inlaid en suite with the blade. wooden scabbard, covered with green velvet, partially worn. Iron chape and loop. length 37,8 cm.
dating: 19th Century provenance: Persia, Curved, double-edged blade, slightly enlarged at the tip, with central raiser, traces of damask, base with remains of gold-inlaid rinceaux and flowers. Light horn grip, richly chiselled. With effigies of noblemen and frames. A bone plaque on the back. length 42 cm.
dating: Third quarter of the 19th Century provenance: Belgium, Cylindrical, rifled, 9 mm cal. barrel, with high rib with fore-sight. Engraved, six-shot cylinder and with remains of inlaid geometrical motifs. In working order. Frame engraved en suite and with remains of inlays. Serial number '8xx'. Lateral extractor. Some pitting, traces of antique finishing. Grip with light horn grip scales and ring for a strap. length 26 cm.
dating: First half of the 19th Century provenance: Southern Italy, Straight, double-edged blade of triangular shape, with central groove, base finely chiselled with a pheasant and lion among floral motifs in bass-relief on a dark ground. Horn grip, chiselled with spirals and copper wire binding. Light-yellow, metal cap, ring-nut and quillon. length 27.5 cm.
