Roman pottery ungentarium. It has a wide body 71 mm wide with a tall neck 24 mm wide and with a flaring mouth 40 mm wide. The ungentarium is 138 mm high and of a light cream colour with traces of decoration in darker browns showing through the sandy concretion. It dates from the first Century A.D.
Palestinian pottery jar. It is 108 mm high, has a bulbous body 60 mm diameter with a slim neck 20 mm diameter, with a flaring mouth 40 mm diameter. Half way up the neck is a lip onto which are fastened two handles to the body. The jar is a light cream colour and there remains four clear dark brown concentric line decorations around the body. There are traces of other line decorations on both the body and the neck. The jar is dated to the ninth Century B.C.
