CHINESE SANDALWOOD CARD CASE,carved in relief with figures, 11cm high, also a Victorian mother of pearl card case and tortoiseshell card case inlaid with fruiting vines in mother of pearl (3)Hinges broken on mother of pearl and tortoiseshell cases. Do not close flush. Chip to one corner of mother of pearl case and some surface wear, including nibbles and a few scuffs. White metal inlays have spots of tarnish. Tortoiseshell has damage to top corners, and a section of wire is missing to central decoration. Some small flecks of loss to mother of pearl inlay and general surface wear to exterior. Fabric interior of both is slightly frayed. Sandalwood case has some light general surface wear but in otherwise good condition; lid mechanism is stuff but in good working order and closes flush. Additional images available.
