Titles are Gas Greatest Hits (ECO-4 - glossy Ex with only a couple of light and wispy markings with the groove/VG+ strictly graded sleeve with an exceptionally clean front, the reverse has a light paper tear where a sticker has likely been removed at some point), The Lovely Dozen (PSP 1001- Ex+ top condition record/Ex nice sleeve), Crab Biggest Hits (ECO 2 - side 2 clean Ex, side 1 graded as VG due to a light scratch on A4/VG+ two names written on the reverse in neat writing) and Reggae Hits '69 (ECO-11 - VG+ a few light surface markings/Ex light laminate wear).
THE UPSETTERS - CLINT EASTWOOD LP (UK PAMA ORIGINAL PSP 1014). Lee Perry at the controls with this smashing early UK LP (Pama Records mono original PSP 1014). Side 1 is in tidy Ex condition with a couple of rather minor and light surface markings to the otherwise very clean and glossy vinyl. Side 2 is graded as VG with a scratch at the end of B4 'Ain't No Love' - please note that this caused 5 noticeable pops on our equipment and this may cause the record to jump if using a heavier weight. Other than this there are just a couple of very light and minor hairline markings. The sleeve is in neat VG+ condition with a great front cover; there is a crease on the reverse leading from the left hand side though this is not a major cause for concern! Overall a more than solid copy!
ROCKSTEADY/ROOTS/SKA LPs. Musically phenomenal, soulful and rich selection of 10 x LPs. The record is in outstanding Ex+ condition with few markings to note - perhaps under an extreme light source can just one or two extremely tiny and minuscule wispy markings be seen. Incredible clean labels. We couldn't resist playing this and can confirm that it sounds fantastic.

SHIRLEY & DOLLY COLLINS - LOVE, DEATH & THE LADY LP (SHVL 771). The sisters collaborating wonderfully with this 1970 LP (UK original on Harvest, SHVL 771). The record is in top Ex+ condition with just one or two extremely faint, minor and wispy markings. With lovely clean labels. The sleeve is in neat Ex condition - always tricky to find in clean condition due to the dark 'matte' texture, there is some light ringwear and some shelfwear to the spine.

The record is in exceptional Ex+ condition with just one or two extremely tiny, minor and wispy markings. Very well presented labels with a few rather light spindle markings. GRAHAM BOND - WE PUT OUR MAGICK ON YOU (UK VERTIGO 6360 042). Casting more spells with Graham Bond here(!), another terrific example with this 1971 LP (6360 042). Superb Ex+/archive standard record with very few markings noted, perhaps one or two when the playing surfaces are exposed to an extreme light source! The gatefold sleeve is in very neat Ex condition with a little wear around the perimeter.
SPIRIT OF JOHN MORGAN - S/T LP (CARNABY CNLS 6002). The not often seen original UK Carnaby release of the band's eponymous LP (CNLS 6002). Visually, side 1 is in VG condition with a scratch running from the start of A1 to the mid part of A3. The record has been played and grades at a strong VG+ - there is little disruption to playback with no jumps, skips or nasty pops, a little surface noise can be heard the in the 'piano' or 'pianissimo' sections though this is only minor - in short, it plays a whole lot better than the scratch looks! Side 2 is in Ex condition with a couple of light surface markings. The sleeve is in neat VG+ condition with a crease on the bottom right hand side of the front.
JADE WARRIOR - RELEASED (UK VERTIGO 6360 062). The original UK Vertigo swirl release of the 1971 monster! The record (6360 062 1Y//1 & 2Y//1) is in Ex condition with some 'shadowing' that is perhaps more notable on side 1. Apart from this, there are a couple of quite light and minor surface markings. The '6 part poster' cover is in solid VG condition. When opened and viewed as if the title is in the 'middle' section (top), there is a small tear on that bottom left sectionanda very small tear leading into the bottom right section. There is also some general edge/'shelfwear' that has simply occurred when the sleeve has been 'opened' over the years. Complete with original swirl inner.
JADE WARRIOR - S/T (UK VERTIGO 6360 033). A lovely copy of the eponymous Jade Warrior LP (large swirl 6360 033). The record is in fantastic Ex+ condition with perhaps just a couple of extremely tiny and minuscule markings witnessed under an intense light source! Complete with original UK swirl inner. The gatefold sleeve is in solid VG+ condition; a solid copy, there is some light spotting most noted on the reverse. Elsewhere, a very well presented example.
JADE WARRIOR - LAST AUTUMN'S DREAM (UK VERTIGO 6360 079). A lovely copy of the arguably harder to find 1972 swirl LP (6360 079). Side 1 is in clean Ex condition with just a couple of rather light and minor surface markings. Side 2 is in lovely Ex+ condition with few markings. The gatefold sleeve is in strong Ex condition with perhaps a very minor sign of water 'damage' on the reverse (a slightly wavy nature). This is certainly not a serious issue in any way.
Albert Hartland (Irish 1840-1893) Moorland and coastal landscapes Three, all signed All watercolour Each 19 x 33.5cm; 7½ x 13¼in (3) ++The one with trees with some light foxing, some paint loss to lower margin, possibly a little fading and discolouration, the other two with one or two minor blemishes, good condition
Attributed to Antonio Puga (1602-1648) The water carrier Oil on canvas 64.5 x 49cm; 25½ x 19in Provenance: Private Collection, Italy Only one signed painting by Puga exists, which is in the Bowes Museum in Barnard Castle. It is dated 1636 and depicts St. Jrome. Puga was born in Orense in Galicia in 1602 but was active in Madrid for most of his life. Not much was known of Puga~s life before Maria Luisa Caturla~s publication on the artist in 1952, which threw interesting light also on Puga as an avid collector and as a person of seious and intellectual interests. He had an extensive collection of paintnigs, engravings and drawings. Documents record his activity from 1635 and included commissions for Philp IV, King of Spain. Puga~s statement in his testament of 1635 reveals that he worked under Eugenio Caxes and was responsible for the landscape in two of Caxes paintings~ done for the Buen Retiro, the royal residence constructed for Philip IV in the early 1630s. A number of landscapes appear in Puga~s inventory as well as in a letter from Modenese Ambassador Camilo Gidi to the Duke of Modena in 1641, where he refers to landscapes executed by Puga in equestrian portraits of members of the Royal Family by Juan de la Corte, which were much esteemed at Court and by the King himself. These elements suggest that he was not only an eclectic collector but that he was also a versatile artist, his oeuvre spanning from portraits, to genre scenes and landscapes.

After returning briefly to Florence, he moved to Venice in about 1732 and became associated with the Venetian school. The facile technique atmospheric light and classical pastoral character that typify his picturesque Arcadian landscapes were especially appealing ot the English. Zuccarelli visited England twice: at the end of 1752, remaining for 10 years with great success at painting landscapes and again from 1765 to 1771. He was founding member of the Royal Academy (1768) and he became one of George III~s favourite painters. Zuccarelli had been elected to the Venetial Academy in 163 and became its president in 1772.
