With a 78cm straight, tapering and pointed blade engraved in a naive manner with GR and crown amongst royal trophies to either side, with 1788 light Cavalry type hilt with wire wound ebony grip, feathered langets and flat topped pommel, in a leather scabbard with twin ring suspension. 96cm overall.
A LIGHT WEIGHT 1796 LIGHT CAVALRY STYLE SABRE. With a 72cm curved and pointed blade with finely blued and gilt decoration GR beneath a crown, royal coat of arms, interlaced thistles and other flowers, with a wire wound fish skin mounted handle, scalloped langets, with leather and steel scabbard with twin ring suspension, engraved with owners initials possibly 'J W W'.
A PRINCE ALBERT'S SOMERSET LIGHT INFANTRY UNIFORM. A scarlet 'other ranks' tunic and blue trousers with red stripe. The tunic with buttons for the Somerset Light Infantry 'The Prince Albert's'. The trousers with War Department arrow and partial label, 'Size 14 ... 1914'. One button to the back replaced with an incorrect example.

(military) and General Service Medal (1965-2007), a similar No. 2 jacket lacking shoulder rank by Alkit of London. A WESTLAND PROPELLER PURPORTEDLY FROM A WESTLAND WIDGEON. The propeller marked to the central boss 'Westland A-S Genet' and 'D 2050 P1375 ACG No 6203, June/26' the boss with six bolt holes 17cm wide, 206cm long. The Westland Widgeon was built at the same time as the Woodpigeon, it took part in the Ministry's Light Aeroplane Competition at Lympne. There was a single Mark 1 aircraft which when updated became the single Mark 2 which averaged 105 mph at Lympne in 1926. The Mark 3 saw a considerable redesign, two attempts to fly to Australia were made in the Mark 3, one ended in Baghdad the other in Athens. A total of 26 Widgeons were built in Yeovil. Sold with a copy of 'Westland a History by Derek N. James.

A Turkish Crimea Medal, British Issue ' Crimea 1855' with privately impressed naming to '3436 W.Cook 1/13 Li Infy' 3436 William Cook is recorded as a Private in the 1st Battalion 13th (1st Somersetshire-Prince Albert's) Light Infantry, he is recorded as serving in Gibraltar and Gonda in India.
A FIRST WORLD WAR CASUALTY PAIR TO THE KINGS SHROPSHIRE LIGHT INFANTRY. A Great War pair comprising War and Victory Medals named to 30562 Pte A. James KSLI. Court mounted. Private William Arthur James was born in 1896 near Kidderminster, he suffered a gun shot wound to his right elbow and was discharged on 27th February 1919. Sold with a small quantity of photocopied research.

Nakago ubu, kiri yasurime, one mekugi ana, inscribed "Kurayori Saku" (?). Copper habaki, nademarugata tsuba, fuchi kashira and kotsuka of polished shibuichi with falcon on a pine tree in takabori of gold and silver. Tsuka and saya (of later date?) covered with same. Husarisches Kettenhemd, Polen oder Ungarn, 2. Hälfte 16. Jhdt. Hemd aus vernieteten Ringen mit ca. 9 - 10 mm Außendurchmesser, alternierende Ringstärken mit stärkerem Geflecht auf der Brust und leichterem an den Armen. An der Vorderseite offener Schnitt mit zwei erhaltenen Verschlusshaken. Die langen Ärmel am unteren Ende schräg geschnitten. Aufgelegter gezaddelter Schulterschutz aus sehr feinem vernieteten Geflecht (Ringgröße ca. 5,5 mm) mit eingeflochtenen Rautenmustern aus auf Stoß geschlossenen Messingringen. Reste eines gefütterten textilen Kragens, mit Seidenbezug und Besatz aus vergoldeten Ziernieten. Der textile Kragen stark verschlissen, das feine Schultergeflecht unvollständig. Das Hemd insgesamt in gutem Zustand, aber am unteren Rand unregelmäßig beschnitten. Länge ca. 77 cm.Seltenes Kettenhemd eines leichten Kavalleristen zur Zeit der österreichischen Türkenkriege. Die ehemals sehr prachtvolle Ausführung entspricht dem damaligen, vom osmanischen Heer beeinflussten modischen Geschmack.Zustand: IIIA Polish or Hungarian light cavalryman's (hussar) coat of mail, 2nd half of the 16th century The coat forged of riveted rings with an outside diameter of approx. 9 - 10 mm, alternating ring thicknesses with heavier mesh on the breast and lightweight mesh on the sleeves. An open section at the front with two preserved fastening hooks. The long sleeves cut on a slant at the lower end. The overlaid, dagged shoulder protection made of extremely fine riveted mesh (ring diameter approx. 5.5 mm) interwoven with rhombic patterns of closed brass rings, placed end to end. The remnants of a lined textile collar, covered in silk and trimmed with gilt decorative rivets. The cloth collar heavily worn, the fine shoulder mesh incomplete. Overall, the coat in good condition, but trimmed unevenly at the lower edge. Length approx. 77 cm.A rare coat of mail for a light cavalryman at the period of the Austrian Turkish Wars. The formerly magnificent execution reflects the fashionable tastes of the Ottoman army at that time.Condition: III

The two-part bevor with throat guard sliding on two plates, an old repair to the chin, the neck guard also sliding on two plates, a riveted plume socket. The surfaces cleaned and with patches of light pitting. Height 32 cm.Condition: II -
