Glass itself is very dirty with what appears to be limescale marks or suchlike to the interior. One has a crack approximately 7 cm long. Slight grubbiness and wear to the foot conducive with age and use, however under UV light, the top of the neck has been damaged and restored - see UV images

A Mary White (1926-2013) stoneware pottery bowl of simple form of flared form, 24.5 cm diameter x 6.5 cm high CONDITION REPORTS Overall appears in good condition. Some fine black spots to the interior of the base of the bowl (probably tiny air bubbles). Similar effect to the very rim where glaze slightly thicker. Some slight marking to one edge of the rim which may come off with a clean. Otherwise the piece appears in good condition. Under UV light there does not appear to be any sign of restoration.

See image. To the chest area, there appears to be some dark marking which may be part of a firing fault. Signature to base reads "Charles Vyse Chelsea". Two labels - one inscribed "158", the other inscribed "Pekingese Dog Celadon.... indistinct" - "Mura England". Under UV light there does not appear to be any sign of restoration.
