A 19th century dining table, with a hinged pine plank top, on a painted base181w x 88d x 77h cmOverall complete and usable. The top has been heavily marked but polished over and varnished, to give it a rustic appearance. The base has been painted black recently, but there are some chips and knocks and the wood is noit smooth. Thed plank top is very dry when viewed from the underside. Light surface marks and signs of use.
A grey velvet upholstered armchair, designed by Antonio Citterio B & B Italia70cm wideOverall condition is solid and usable, but with some light marks and signs of use, not easy to spot within the texture of the velvet. Collected from a local house move and some marks look like they are from it being stacked against other items, so may come out in time.
An early 20th century continental carved camphorwood blanket box, with a hinged lid120w x 51d x 53h cmOverall condition is complete and usable. No key, but the lock is in place. There is a small section of moulding missing from around the bottom edge at the back. Light signs of use and wear with some variances in colour from water marks.
An early 20th century oak drop leaf dining table, attributed to Arthur Romney Green, 1872-1945, together with a pair of early 20th century oak high back chairs (3)155w x 108d x 74h cmOverall condition of the table looks to be complete and usable, with light signs of use. The dots in the top surafec are slightly darker plugs which show through from below and part of the construction.
An early 20th century 18 carat gold sapphire and diamond bangle, of hinged design, set with a row of seven alternating stones, the hinged clasp with safety chain, 14.5g, 6cm wide, in a fitted caseOverall complete and wearable. Fastens correctly. Stones are complete and the diamonds appear white to the eye, but do have inclusions when viewed with a lens. The sapphires are bright. Appears to have some age and does show light signs of use when examined closely. Stamped 18 to the clasp. It has been gilded a brighter yellow gold colour, which is worn in places. Has various scratch weights on the inside edge.
A Norwegian silver gilt and enamelled spoon, by J Tostrup, 44g, 14cm long, together with a continental silver beaker, 39g, 6cm high, an Indian metalwares egg cup and a Chinese metalwares bodkin case, 10cm high (4)The spoon appears complete and undamaged. Egg cup is tarnished and dented around the base. Lidded jar and cup are complete with some light wear.
A Victorian gothic child's metamorphic high chair/table, with an upholstered seat53w x 52d x 92h cmOverall condition is solid and usable, but slightly scruffy. Velvet on the seat looks old, but is marked and worn. Dirty with overall general wear from use and light marks to the surfaces. Unrestored.
A Victorian patent green upholstered corner sofa, in the manner of Howard & son, later upholstered in green, with a buttoned back, on turned legs, stamped C & C (Cope & Collinson) patent to the castors180w x 90d x 86h cmOverall complete and usable. The fabric is complete and looks well done, but does has some light marks from use. The back legs have been sawn through and screwed, presumably to get it though a door a some stage.
A pair of Victorian bobbin turned armchairs, recently upholstered in yellow, on castors (2)62w x 74d x 96h cmOverall condition is complete and usable. There are some losses to the veneer on the lower edge of the front rail and a section of veneer glued. The fabric is good quality and well covered, but there are some small light marks from use. General signed of use. Unrestored as collected from a house in Suffolk, where they were being used.
A 19th century brass five branch chandelier, suspended with glass lustres, 60cm diameter, together with a collection of spare dropsOverall condition is usable and complete. It has various holes to allow for the wiring, as it was probably converted from a gas light. The metal surfaces are dull and tarnished.
Michael Sowa, b1945, Konig, print, 50 x 39cm, in an archetural style gilt frame, together with painted plaster portrait medallion, inscribed DOMI-AVG and a print (3)Sowa print loomks complete and the frame is dirty with light marks but undamaged. Plaster plaque has light marks and tghe frame is quite chipped, some of the yellow is marked from behind.
Manner of Sir Godfrey Kneller, 1646-1723, head and shoulders portrait of a gentleman, in a powdered wig, wearing a suit of armour, oil on canvas, 36 x 30cm Provenance: Has remained within the same family for at least the past fifty years, having been passed and inheritedGenerally dirty and unrestored. The surface has a fine crazing throughout. Various light surface marks, perhaps most notably to the left cheek. Frame looks old but may not be original, is dirty and has various light knocks and marks.
An early 20th century military camphor wood box, inscribed Capt. C. W. Harvey, R.E., 97cm wide, together with an Edwardian occasional table (2)Overall condition of the box is complete and usable. Constructioin is quite crude. Lock has been removed. Belonged to the family, so is dirty and unrestored, with light marks and wear from use.
