An early 20th Century French Lacquered Brass Champleve enamel and green onyx four glass mantel Clock, L Marti, the plinth-shaped case with floral and foliate decorated panel of red, pink and dark blue on a light blue field, to a moulded cornice and replicated decoration to the frieze and columns, on a polished rectangular green onyx base, and set with four bevelled glasses, to a further enamelled chapter ring enclosing a 2 ¾” gilt chapter ring with painted Arabic numerals and outside minute track to a pale pink, yellow and blue enamelled central boss with blued steel hands, to a circular brass movement with anchor escapement and strike on a blued steel coiled gong, with similarly decorated pendulum bob, height 9”
A 20th Century Brass cased and gimballed Ship’s Compass, the polished brass case with carry handle and side mounted paraffin light with glazed panel and vented flue, to a circular flange with screw holes, and containing a grey painted gimballed compass with fluid filled reservoir and rotating black and white disc (bearing a paper label “Troop Ship Nevasa, UK Singapore, National Service”), height 9”
