All cartouches are vacant.
A D MOUGIN; a late 19th century French ormolu eight day gong strike mantel clock and garniture, the clock with urn finial above circular dial set with Roman numerals flanked by turned columns, the movement backplate with stamped manufacturer's mark and numbered 56917, with harbour scene in relief to lower section, probably Istanbul, the twin handled urns with cherubic masks to both sides and martial scenes in relief to front depicting a battle between the Ottoman Empire and Christian forces, all on foliate detailed bases to cast satyr mask front feet, the clock 42 x 23 x 15cm.Additional InformationNo key or pendulum included, therefore not tested, no guarantee of working order. Rubbing to the ormolu finish throughout, light general wear including some pitting, scratches, scuffs and marks. Further tarnish to metalware, dirt and dust, some imperfections in the casting.

The shades with some fritting to the rims. The Art Deco examples with some small nibbles as well, one with a larger chip to the base foot and a large chip to top rim on the other example.

A late 19th century bronze clock surmount depicting Socrates, height 23cm, a figural candlestick, height 31,75cm and a single figure of a Marley horse, height 22cm (3).Additional InformationAs detailed, Socrates would originally have sat on a clock and has clay filler to the interior, light rubbing to the raised parts and some surface scratches. The figural candlestick again has general surface wear throughout and rubbing to the raised parts. The Marley horse has twisted and misshapen reins, scuffs and a few chips to the wooden base and general surface wear.
