Hinge for cover wobbles a bit. Glass ok. A few old marks and some light wear for copper elements, but generally good. There are some not very clear stamped letters and numbers on the inside of the cover - D.E.P 10385 and *? R.G 1*?8180

(The incised numbers by the artist's monogram are difficult to decipher, the respective '0' and the '4' are quite clear but the others could be 7 or 9 or perhaps even 1? )

D'Argental (French), a cameo glass table lamp and shade,c.1920, signed in relief on the base 'D'Argental',The domed shade and oviform base overlaid and acid-etched with a rural landscape, the shade supported on three brass arms, with light fitments,33 cm high There is an 'oyster' chip to the inside rim of the shade - approx 1,3 cm wide, 0.9 cm high, thin in depth. There are a few tiny nicks around the hole that the electric cable comes through and natural wear to the underside of the base. The collar of the base beneath the brass mounts is ok, but there are some scuffs on the glass from the screws. Light natural wear.
