BULGARIA. sobre 15(3), 17. 1896. 5 s green yellow on Registered Postal Stationery card from SHUMEN to VAUCOULEURS, and readdressed to THILLOT and LYGNY EN BARROIS (FRANCE), complementary franking 5 s light green, three stamps and 15 s purple and lilac. C.d.s. cancellation LLYMEH / *CHOOMLA*, and various arrival postmark on front. VERY FINE AND SUPERB FRANKING.

The bow light green and floral enamelled (A/F), the back enamelled with a lady carrying baskets, in a countryside setting. The inside of the back cover marked "FAUVETTE HAD". The white dial with black arabic numerals and with a pale blue enamelled surround (A/F), in a fitted velvet box.

Colonel 18 Regt. Light Dragoons; Commandant Atholl Battalion of Perth Militia (1803); Deputy Lieutenant for Perthshire (1803). Suspended on a chased gold split ring, seal tested as approximately 9ct gold, split ring tested as approximately 14/15ct gold,together with a gold three faced swivel seal,a banded agate tablet, intaglio engraved with the arms of Butter, attributed to Archibald Butter of Faskally, born 9 May 1805 and died 5 May 1885, Deputy Lieutenant for Perthshire. A foil backed amethyst tablet intaglio engraved with a running hare and the word 'Halloo', and a foiled citrine intaglio engraved with a thistle and the motto 'Dinna Forget', tested as approximately 14/15ct gold (2)
A latticino glass four-light table light in opaque blue with blue glass borders on a dolphin support Condition Report: Missing two arms. It breaks down to a certain extent. One dolphin to stem missing, another glued back on. Breaks and losses to chain swags. Loss to one piece of scrollwork to finial.
A Victorian part tea service painted green trelliswork and with stylised foliage borders, twenty pieces and a similar two-handled vase Condition Report: Teapot - finial glued on. Gilt a little rubbed, some staining particularly around handle and spout. Side plates (3) - Gilt very rubbed. Saucers (4) - All with rubbed gilt. One has bad star crack to centre, one has faint star crack to centre. Tea cups (6) - Some light rubbing to gilt. One has small chip to foot rim, one has small hair crack from rim. Coffee cups (6) - One badly restored, reglued from two pieces. One has two bad cracks to side.
A pair of 19th Century ormolu porcelain moulded two-branch three-light table lights with hinged caryatid branches, the mounts decorated flowers and putti on shaped circular bases, 25.5cm high Condition Report: Overall good condition. Slight rubbing to ormolu, a few of the applied red 'jewels' missing from porcelain elements.
A Victorian carved walnut Davenport, the gilt tooled leather inset sloping writing surface hinged to enclose a satin maple wood fitted interior, flanked to one side by a series of four short drawers and opposing dummy drawers, raised on front foliate carved scrolled uprights terminating on four bun feet, width approx 55cm. CONDITION REPORT: areas of water damage to top section, split to back panel. light scratches but generally good condition.
An Edwardian carved mahogany show wood framed four piece salon suite comprising an elegant sofa, approx 148cm wide, an armchair, and pair of single chairs, the whole with matching carved, pierced back bars, gold draylon upholstery and raised on pad foot cabriole supports. CONDITION REPORT: Lot 874: Generally good condition, light marks and scratches.
