Collection of Black Sabbath Ephemera from the late 1960s to 1973. The collection includes original 10 x 8 photo with info sticker on reverse `left to right Geezer Butler, Tony Iommi, Bill Ward, John Osbourne. Plus original photographs from Norman taken on a polaroid camera of Geezer and on stage and car x 7 . Photographs of Geezer and Tony in a Lamborghini are unique and rare. An original smaller group photo with info sticker on reverse Black Sabbath left to right Tony Iommi, John Osbourne, Geezer Butler, Bill Ward, Plus 10 x 8 of Geezer and Tony and another photograph taken by Schiffler Munchen. Also included a matchbook `Bill Ward Stinks`.... Tony and band members were notorious for their humourous antics to relieve boredom on the road and Bill was ofen the recipient of more than his fair share of light hearted mickey taking. This matchbook was left in their van on a trip to Cumbria and possibly one of the last remaining today ! Along with some interesting documents and the registration of the Tramp Entertainments. Provenance from the collection of Norman Hood promoter, agency for Black Sabbath in the late 1960s and 70s.
Pier Angeli A collection of orignal photographs signed in person by Pier Angeli. x 5 two dedicated Plus a 1956 Picture Cut out Book. One photo a `Diane` film original stamped on reverse. Plus a signed Eddie Albut Roman Holiday 1953 card signed. Anna Marie Pierangeli (19 June 1932 – 10 September 1971[1]), known internationally by the stage name Pier Angeli, was an Italian actress, model and singer. She won the Nastro d'Argento for Best Actress for her debut role in the 1950 film Tomorrow Is Too Late, and subsequently won a Golden Globe Award for New Star of the Year – Actress for her performance in the American film Teresa (1951). In the United States, Angeli was typecast in "European ingénue" roles, and notably played romantic leading ladies in The Light Touch (1951), The Devil Makes Three (1952), The Story of Three Loves (1953), The Silver Chalice (1954), and Somebody Up There Likes Me (1956). She was nominated for a BAFTA Award for Best Foreign Actress for her role opposite Richard Attenborough in the British film The Angry Silence (1960). Off-screen, Angeli was known for her high-profile romantic affairs with actors Kirk Douglas and James Dean, and later her tumultuous marriage to singer Vic Damone. She died at the age of 39 of a barbiturate overdose. Edward Albert Heimberger (April 22, 1906 – May 26, 2005) was an American actor and humanitarian. He was twice nominated for the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor; the first nomination came in 1954 for his performance in Roman Holiday, and the second in 1973 for The Heartbreak Kid.[1] Other well-known screen roles of his include Bing Edwards in the Brother Rat films, traveling salesman Ali Hakim in the musical Oklahoma!, and the sadistic prison warden in 1974's The Longest Yard. He starred as Oliver Wendell Douglas in the 1960s television sitcom Green Acres and as Frank MacBride in the 1970s crime drama Switch. Pair of Victorian opaline glass urns, c1880, the flattened ovoid bodies decorated in polychrome enamels with blue tits and finches above garden flowers, on a raised circular foot, H46cm.One has large chips to the base rim, the other has a few minor nibbles to the base rim, otherwise just light general wear. Chip to foot rim of one vase. Gilding rubbed and scratched in places.
Victorian five stone sapphire ring, the graduating cushion cut sapphires interspersed with diamond chips on scrolled mount, the ring unmarked but testing as 15ct gold, ring size M. Good condition with light wear when viewed under a 10x loupe, some scratches and scuffs to the stone edges. Stones are dirty and show flaws internally when viewed through a loupe. Ring weighs 3.4g gross. Central stone measures 5mm x 4mm.
Omega Constellation bi-metal calendar wristwatch, exterior gold bezel ring with roman numerals around a champagne dial, baton luminous hands and sweep seconds, dot markers and minute track with subsidiary day/date dials, interior of case with serial number 50418495, calibre 1445.Very light wear to case and face, leather strap very worn. Not currently running, may only require new battery. Working order is not guaranteed. Please see images for condition.
Rolex Oyster Perpetual Datejust automatic wristwatch chronometer, the black enamel dial with gold coloured baton hands, five-minute markers and date aperture, bi-colour case with fluted bezel on a bi-colour steel jubilee bracelet. Light wear, ticks intermittently, small chips to the bezel edge when viewed under a loupe, no box or papers. Face measures 30mm in diameter. The glass is scuffed but appears original. We have removed the back and the movement appears good. The watch appears to work but we cannot guarantee working condition. Case measures 34mm excluding crown.
Art Deco 18ct white gold sapphire and diamond ring, the central square cut sapphire flanked by round cut diamonds and further surrounded by a band of paved sapphires with round cut corner diamonds, set on a square platinum mount leading to plain gold band, ring size M/N, within Brook and Son of Edinburgh retailers box. Good condition with light wear when viewed under a 10x loupe, personalised inscription on inner band. Round diamonds are approx. .07ct each. Approx 10mm head. Appears secure and free from major damage.
