Pair of late 19th century German porcelain figural candlesticks, underglaze blue script R marks, painted and impressed numerals, each modelled with a scantily draped maiden supporting a foliate column candlestick, on mound base and waisted socle painted with vines, 32cm high (some minor damages) (2) Condition ReportBoth have been reattached through their nozzles to the stems, with old sticky substance applied to each nozzle. There may be an additional element that is lacking between the leafy drip pans and the stems. Some yellow discolouration to this area. Light chipping to each of the maiden's floral garlands. The sticky sustance could be cleaned and the nozzles cleanly reattached. Minor wear overall. See additional images.
