Provenance: Christie's, The Manor House, Little Marlow, 1998Condition report: Overall solid and usable. The seats are stable, but quite marked from use. The frames have light marks from use, chips and knocks. Unrestored. Some of the joints are not tight, but stable. They look to be continental in style and to date from the early to mid 19th century.

After Milo, Miguel Fernando Lopez, Portuguese, contemporary, a bronze and gilt figure of a lady holding a candelabra, with a white alabaster shade, on a marble pedestal base, 223cm high overallCondition report: Some light signs of use and from being moved, but complete and uasble. The wiring would need replacing. Very heavy and requires two people to lift it. Shade lifts off and marble comes into sections so it can be moved.
