Dutch School, 19th century, figures smoking in a tavern, oil on white metal, 20 x 16cm, ovalCondition report: Has quite a few light marks on the surface, showing white in places. There is a fine crazing within the very dark areas of paint. The frame is old, but has a dull finish and is scruffy.
A set of ten 19th century simulated rosewood dining chairs, each with an x frame back and upholstered seat. Provenance: Christie's, The Manor House, Little Marlow, 1998Condition report: Overall solid and usable. The seats are stable, but quite marked from use. The frames have light marks from use, chips and knocks. Unrestored. Some of the joints are not tight, but stable. They look to be continental in style and to date from the early to mid 19th century.
A French upholstered bedstead, with a sprung base198 x 101 x 75h cmCondition report: Overall is solid and usable. The ends will come apart with French style bolts, although we have not needed to. The fabric is undamaged and has some very light marks from use, but is usable in my opinion. There is no mattress.
After Milo, Miguel Fernando Lopez, Portuguese, contemporary, a bronze and gilt figure of a lady holding a candelabra, with a white alabaster shade, on a marble pedestal base, 223cm high overallCondition report: Some light signs of use and from being moved, but complete and uasble. The wiring would need replacing. Very heavy and requires two people to lift it. Shade lifts off and marble comes into sections so it can be moved.
An early 20th century French dressing chest, with a marble top and shaped mirror113w x 54d x 185h cm overallCondition report: Overall usable. Some filled woodworm holes mostly towards the base and bottom drawer front and on the back of the mirror. The finish is generally dull and dry. Quite a few light marks. Has a key. Marble undamaged. Drawers run ok.
A Victorian walnut wind out extending dining table, with an additional leaf, on turned and reeded legs, with winder150 x 105 x 74h cm overallCondition report: Overall is solid and usable. Winds out ok. From the floor to the frieze measures 60cm high. Each side is 52cm and the leaf is 34cm wide. Dirty, with various light marks from use/age, blemishes in the top and chips. Has a table winder.
An Art Deco silver single handled tankard, of slightly ovoid form, engraved Robert Muller July 27th 1921, maker Walker & Hall, Birmingham 1919, 6.1oz, h.9cmCondition report: Stands well.Thumbnail size low relief surface dent at area of inscription, only noticeable upon close inspection.Some light tarnishing but generally very good condition.
A contemporary Nordlux white painted metal adjustable desk lamp, the twin branch column with hinged action, domed shade, label to underside, lower branch length 42cm, upper branch length 42cmCondition report: Hinged action is good and works well.Some minor paint chips to upper outer edge of base.Surfaces are a little grubby and would benefit from a light clean.
