19th century French tortoiseshell and silver and gold piqué work cigar case with classical building tableau, 14.5cm and 19th century Russian painted tin box decorated with a maiden (2) CONDITION REPORT Cigar case- condition is good, generally light wear and very minor defects to tortoiseshell only perceptable on very close inspection. Slight deterioration to fabric lined interior, some elements have become unstitched. Painted tin box- dent bottom right of portrait, some losses to paint particularly left side around hinges an area on top left of portrait face, some further minor dents and paint loss

A scarce sidearm in the style of an 1856 pattern sword bayonet, recurved blade 20½”, by Kratz, Solingen, iron crossguard and solid pommel, chequered composition grips secured by 5 small studs, in its steel mounted leather scabbard. GC (minor wear and light pitting to hilt and scabbard mounts).
