Near VGC (light stains to cover); also a modern set of 16 WWII German SS figures, average height 4”, in fitted plastic lined card box, the lid marked “1394 of 5000”; and a similar set, un-numbered. A 6 shot .36” Colt Model 1851 Navy percussion revolver, number 23494 (1853) on all parts, with New York City address, naval scene on cylinder, traces of silver plating on trigger guard and backstrap, and varnished walnut grips. GWO & C (dark patina, barrel lightly pitted overall, cylinder scene a little faint with light score mark) Plate 14
A glazed and wood framed display cabinet. Produced by Picture Pride and Ideal for 1:76/1:43 scale model vehicles, OOC/EFE/Corgi/Dinky etc. Finished in blue with a gold coloured inlay with light blue backing, with 9 glass shelves. 84cm high, width 56cm with a depth of 9cm. VGC minor marks only.
A late 19th century Spanish light cavalry sword, very slightly curved, fullered blade 34”, with crowned double headed eagle mark of “Ballestebos, Toledo” on one side at forte, and stamped “K458/AE” on the other, steel hilt with knucklebow, sideloop and 2 sidebars, stepped pommel, plain backstrap, wirebound fishskin grip, in its steel scabbard with single ring. Basically GC (blade some wear, hilt and scabbard rusted).
A 10 bore East India Company percussion musket, c 1840, 55” overall, sighted barrel 39” with London proofs and EIC viewer’s marks for 1840-41, the transitional type flat lock with rampant lion and viewer’s marks, the walnut fullstock with brass mounts including Baker rifle type spurred trigger guard, fore end cap with no provision for bayonet catch, sling swivels and original steel ramrod. A .22” BSA “Standard” underlever air rifle, number S21951 (1924), 45¼” overall, barrel 19¼”, the air chamber with traces of etched markings and with 3 hole trigger block, the walnut butt with semi pistol grip and impressed chequered panels. A scarce l960’s Corgi Toys Gift Set No.48 Car Transporter With 6 Cars. Comprising a Ford H Series “Tilt Cab” tractor unit in red, grey and silver, with two tone blue Carrimore Mk 1V two deck trailer. Together with 6 original cars –Rover 2000TC in metallic maroon with cream interior. Sunbeam Imp “Rallye Monte Carlo” in metallic blue with white stripe, RN77. Ford Consul Cortina Estate in bright red with ‘wood work’ to sides and cream interior. Morris Mini Minor in lilac with red interior, BMC Mini Cooper ‘S’ in red with white roof Sun Rally livery, RN21. Plus a Morris Mini Cooper, wickerwork example in black with red roof, yellow/black ‘wicker’ sides and yellow interior. In original display box with very good insert, complete with white outer cover to window, paperwork and bollards. Outer box is complete but has some light age wear. A DB 11 bore percussion sporting gun by Forsyth & Co, number 4450, 45” overall, twist barrels 29” with platinum vents, the top rib engraved “Forsyth & Co, No 8 Leicester Stt Leicester Sqr. London”, the locks engraved with game birds, rabbit, scrolled foliage, dog tooth borders, and “Forsyth & Co. Patent”, the finely figured burr maple halfstock with chequered wrist, vacant silver escutcheon, engraved steel mounts including trigger guard with game dog, and replacement ramrod. A good similar US cavalry trooper’s sword, d 1868, blade 35”, round backed and marked “US 1864 A.G.M” on one side at forte, and “C. Roby, W Chelmsford, Mass” on the other, brass guard with shallow reinforced edges, slightly swollen brass wirebound leather grip, in its unlined scabbard. VGC and evidently unissued (light rust to scabbard). Plate 9

An Artillery officer’s sword, c 1875, very slightly curved blade 32½”, etched with winged lightning on one side, and grenade with cannon on the other, in scrolled panels, regulation steel hilt with knucklebow, sideloop and 2 sidebars, stepped pommel, chequered thumbpiece, wirebound fishkin grip, in its steel scabbard with 2 rings. Basically GC (some wear overall, light pitting to hilt and scabbard).
A 1786 pattern infantry officer’s sword, SE fullered blade 32”, marked “J J Runkel, Solingen” on backstrap, and etched with crowned GR cypher, R Arms, stylized pineapple and foliage, blued and gilt for one third length, brass stirrup hilt, retaining a little original gilt, with crossguard and wavy sideloop enclosing a pierced heart, ring to top of knucklebow, facetted swollen pommel, chequered panelled ebony grip with central band engraved in oval on the outer side with crowned “LLV” (Loyal Lancaster, Leyland, Lynn?) and the inner side with owner’s initials “T.P”, in its brass mounted leather scabbard (repaired) with 2 rings, the locket engraved “Bennett, Sword Cutler to the Prince of Wales, 67 Royal Exchange”. GC, the blade retaining approx 75% original blueing and gilding and polish (light pitting marks to edges). Plate 9
