Late Period, 30th Dynasty, Ca. 332 BC A vibrantly coloured shabti in stylised mummiform pose, moulded in a light-blue, glazed faience, wearing a tripartite wig and divine, braided beard. The chest with folded arms, clenching a pick and hoe. A band of hieroglyphic text running vertically down to the trapezoidal base, the reverse with a dorsal pillar, representing the backbone of Osiris, symbolising stability and longevity. Ca. 300-400 AD A mould-made terracotta oil lamp with a round nozzle, smooth sidewalls, shoulders decorated with a repeating curvilinear motif, and a recessed discus depicting a right-facing running rabbit. The base is decorated with a stylised fishbone mark, which is an early Christian symbol. The discus shows a small vent hole and a fill hole, and a larger round wick hole. Excellent condition.Cf.
