He made his home in Minneapolis in 1906 for a position as a cartoonist for the Minneapolis Tribune where he worked for nine years. After leaving the Tribune he made a living by painting portraits and then idyllic landscapes from the Hudson River to Minnesota. Nicola Constantino (Argentine, b. 1964). Acrylic and marble display stand for "Savon de Corps," a multi-media work began in 2004. The blue acrylic bowl would have originally held one of the one-hundred bars of soap that, as the display advertises, contained 3% 'Essence de Nicola.' This was an ingredient derived from body fat removed from Constantino during a liposuction operation. This display lacking the bar of soap.The work initially gained media attention for it's provocative tagline "prends ton bain avec moi (come take a bath with me)." Constantino served as the three-in-one artist, model, and matter of the artwork.
