A Russian silver-gilt and guilloché enamel pill box Of circular form, decorated with translucent green guilloche enamel throughout, with applied foliate rims, the inside of the circular lid fitted with an ivorine panel, silver-gilt interior, cased, diameter 5.2cm, weight 2.6 troy oz, by Andres Mickelson, St Petersburg, bearing Kokoshnik 88 marks. A Chinese embroidered 'Dragon' robe, early 20th Century The pink/red silk robe with light blue silk lining, the front with three five-clawed dragons amidst embroidered blue, gold and gilt thread fire scrolls and ruyi clouds, the back with central gold embroidered five-clawed dragon, flanked by two further dragons amidst phoenix in flight and Buddhistic emblems, overall length 102cm long. A Rolex 17 Rubis Panerai 3646 wristwatch Originally produced for the German and Italian navy circa 1941-1943, with 'Volcano' dome and deep blue face with yellow dial, marked FAB. Suisse, Rolex 17 Rubis to movement and Brevet to crown, length from lug to lug 5.5cm NB: This is a very rare watch and was only produced for a small period of time, please check online for full information regarding this watch. CONDITION REPORT: The watch was consigned by a gentleman who was clearing his late fathers house and discovered the watch in a drawer. Light scratches to glass, crown is difficult to tighten up, threads slightly worn, wear marks to outer case, appears to be working when report was given, light scratches to back panel. The thread on the crown is loose, the watch case back is stamped Rolex, see image.
TODD THELMA: (1906-1935) American Actress, famous for her roles in various comedy films alongside The Marx Brothers, Laurel & Hardy, Buster Keaton and others. Rare vintage fountain pen ink signature and inscription ('To Arta - with sincerest wishes from Thelma Todd') on an 8vo page removed from an autograph album. Also signed in fountain pen ink by the actress Betty Compson. With two magazine photographs neatly affixed alongside the signatures. A slightly irregularly clipped piece individually signed by Johnny Weissmuller and Lupe Velez is affixed to the verso alongside three magazine photographs. PADEREWSKI I. J.: (1860-1941) Polish Pianist & Composer, Prime Minister of Poland, 1919. Vintage signed 11 x 17 photograph of Paderewski in a head and shoulders pose. Photograph by (John) Furley Lewis. Signed by Paderewski with his name alone in fountain pen ink to the lower photographer's mount. Also signed in pencil by Furley Lewis to the lower mount and with an additional inscription in his hand, 'To my dear friend, Alfred Henry, in grateful appreciation of his own music, this portrait of the maestro', and dated 1914 in his hand. Some light wrinkling and scuffing to the image and some creasing and minor staining to the photographer's mount. G
