A 19th century French gilt brass mantel clock in the manner of Leroy of Paris, with surmount modelled as a lady holding a book above silvered dial set with Roman numerals and further cast floral, scroll and mask detail, on scrolled front feet, the eight day movement striking on a bell, height 36cm, width 26cm.Additional InformationNot tested, no guarantee of working order. Some rubbing to gilt finish, as well as tarnish, discolouration, some dirt and rubbing to the dial. Some casting manufacturing imperfections, light scratches and general wear throughout.

A George III mahogany longcase clock, the broken swan neck pediment above arched silvered dial set with rolling moon phase, inscribed 'Here I stand with all my might so take example now by me to tell the hours by day & night to serve thy God as I serve thee', the finely engraved main dial set with both Roman and Arabic numerals with twin subsidiary dials for seconds and date, inscribed 'John (iohn) Holt, Rochdale', further inscribed 'The trumpet shall sound incorruptible and the dead shall be raised, we shall be changed', the long arched door flanked by turned pillars to a plinth base, with eight day movement, height 230cm.Additional InformationCracks and splitting to case and veneer, finial is loose, no packing under seat board, seat board is warped, light wear to dial. It is a chain wind mechanism. Chapter ring with tarnishing and wear. Case with light wear but overall ok.

A late 19th century electroplated Corinthian column oil lamp, with a frosted glass shade, height including chimney 76cm.Additional InformationWe cannot guarantee that this lot is in full working order. The plated surface is worn throughout and with some light tarnishing. Shade with some nicks and nibbles to the base edge. No chips or cracks to the reservoir .
