AN EXTREMELY LARGE LIMITED EDITION MOORCROFT POTTERY VASE DECORATED IN THE 'RAIN FORSET' PATTERN of baluster form, designed by Sally Tuffin, signed by John Moorcroft, numbered 105/150 and dated 24.2.93 to base, 42cm high The vendor informed me that this piece had been damaged during a house move and had been professionally restored – however, even under magnification and with a UV light, I cannot find any signs of restoration. It was a late relative of the vendor rather than their own property as such, and there is the possibility that they may have been mistaken, but I draw your attention to this point, and ask you to satisfy yourself as to condition.
