Revolver: A Pattern 1851 .45 (54 bore) Cal, Adams, self cocking percussion revolver. Barrel 6.25" engraved (faint in parts) 'Deane Adams & Deane 30 King William Street, London Bridge'. Sprung safety catch absent from frame. Frame engraved 'Adams Patent No 9356 R' cap trap in butt. Chequered walnut grip. Engraving to frame. Refinished overall with some light pitting. Good working order.
Sword: A rare Russian 1827 Pattern Light Cavalry troopers sword. Top of blade with Russian inscriptions & dated 1835. Ricasso stamped with a 'T' & 'D' & 'G' within a circle. Leather bound wooden grip (minor losses to leather). Brass triple bar hilt. Heavy curved blade 34". No scabbard. Brass lozenge studs to grip. A rare sword, a standard weapon in the Crimean War. Good overall condition for age.
