Bore is three-groove rifled with a few shallow crusty stains but generally well definedLock: Positive and audible half and full cock positions. Finished has stained to a dark grey but engraved detail well preserved. Set trigger functions correctly.Woodwork & Furniture: Wood is generally sound with only light knocks and bruises although a repaired hairline age-crack runs through the area of the barrel key escutcheon on the left side back to the side cheek and forwards through the corner of the horn fore-end tip. Another hairline is present running from the side nail cup up to the corner of the breech. A further small blind crack runs in a loop from the lock-tail and appears to have been filled with a red filler.
