Comlpete with hexagonal insert in top Ex+ condition. The sleeve is in neat VG+ condition with some light ringwear and a few minor creases though absolutely no rips/tears or splits.

BILLY NICHOLLS - WOULD YOU BELIEVE LP (ORIGINAL UK PRESSING - IMMEDIATE IMCP 009). This is the one... Here it is then, a true piece of 60s musical history with the instantly deleted utterly magical debut LP from Billy Nicholls. Generously consigned by Alan O'Duffy who was the sound engineer for the album, and who was responsible for recording the title track. The brainchild of Loog Oldham, after falling out with The Rolling Stones he pooled his resources to try and make the 19-year-old Billy Nicholls a star of the Psychedelic Pop scene. Steve Marriot, John Paul Jones, Ronnie Laine, Jenny Shirley were also brought in to help create an album to 'file next to' Pet Sounds, their involvement along with Billy's tremendous songwriting abilities produced an outstanding album; however despite its musical merit, just as the album was ready for pressing Oldham’s financial overstretch brought about Immediate’s overnight demise, and only about 100 copies were ever produced. The record is in fantastic Ex+ condition. A superb copy, there are just a couple of very light, fine and wispy paper hairline surface marks to the playing surfaces. These marks are never at all heavier in nature with the album playing without any problems throughout. There are some light spindle marks to the otherwise sharp and clean labels and there is an extremely minor 'edge warp' to the record that is just about visible, it should be clearly noted that this does not affect playback. Matrix/mother stampers (machine stamped): IMCP 009-1C-2 1 G & IMSP 009-2Y (crossed out) IMCP 009-2C 1 G. The sleeve is in solid VG condition. A neat example, there are some light creases that are largely limited to the edges, some light discolouration on the reverse and a very small paper tear on the opening edge (measuring approx 5mm). The spine is in clean order with the text fully legible. A beautifully penned letter of provenance will be included from Alan who has had an illustrious career as a sound engineer working with Paul McCartney, The Kinks, The Rolling Stones, The Small Faces, Slade and Eric Clapton.

FAMILY - SECOND GENERATION WOMAN C/W I'AM (SIC) COMIN HOME (UNRELEASED) - EMIDISC 7" ACETATE. Absolutely wicked piece of early Family history with this 1968 double sided acetate of Second Generation Woman c/w I'am (sic) Comin Home, the latter track unreleased. The 'A' side Second Generation Woman is also a different version to the commercial release with this effectively a demo of the track. 'I'am Comin Home' is a cracking little R&B mover starting off with a funky drum intro with a 12 bar blues progression the main basis of the track. The chorus is similar in style to the '67 Spencer Davis Group cut 'I'm A Man'. The acetate is in well presented VG+ condition showing some light and minor surface marks, these not heavier in nature. With only a little wear to the aluminium lacquer. The tracks are handwritten on the Emidisc labels with a stamp for 'M.D. Recording Studios' on both sides (the studio stamp also on the white outer sleeve). The record plays through very well on both sides. Please get in touch for a sample of the audio.

Matrix/mother stampers: SHVL 804 A2 5 GAA & SHVL 804 B2 2 GAR. With neat and clean labels showing some light spindle marks. Complete with both posters in excellent condition, please note that the stickers are present though these are stuck to the inside of the gatefold. The sleeve ('one' opening) is in solid VG condition - there are some light scuffs though no rips/tears, the VG grading largely due to the stickers on the inside.

Los 130

THE ART OF LOVIN' - THE ART OF LOVIN' LP (ORIGINAL US PRESSING - MAINSTREAM RECORDS S/6113). Some major Psych/Folk from Netwon, Massacheutsis - here's the wicked eponymous '68 LP from The Art Of Lovin'. THE DRUIDS OF STONEHENGE - CREATION LP (ORIGINAL US PROMO PRESSING - UNI 73004). Headin' back to New York City though staying in 1968 with the totally killer only LP from The Druids Of Change, this a fantastic condition original US promo copy on Uni (73004). The record is in spot on Ex+ condition showing only a couple of extremely faint and wispy paper marks. Printed on labels 'PROMOTIONAL COPY NOT FOR SALE'. The sleeve is in very sharp Ex condition - still housed in the shrink, this has caused some light 'bending' and there is some light foxing on the reverse. Top copy, this.

Los 132

HUNTER MUSKETT - EVERY TIME YOU MOVE LP (ORIGINAL UK PRESSING - DECCA NOVA SDN 20). The essential 1970 LP from Hunter Muskett (a marvellous album which contains the beauty 'Press Gang'), this the original UK pressing on the desirable Decca Nova series. The record (SDN 20) is in fine and glossy VG+ condition showing some light surface marks/hairline scuffs, these not heavier with no feelable scratches. The sleeve is in VG condition - part of the front sleeve has been 'painted' in white appearing to have covered up some writing, though as the rest of the sleeve is white this doesn't deter from the integrity of the sleeve. Elsewhere there are some creases though nothing heavier.

Los 134

JULIE COVINGTON - THE BEAUTIFUL CHANGES LP (ORIGINAL UK PRESSING - COLUMBIA SCX 6466). The seldom seen 1971 LP from Julie Covington, this a neatly presented original UK copy on Columbia. SAM GOPAL - ESCALATOR LP (ORIGINAL UK PRESSING - STABLE SLE 8001). The gatefold sleeve is in VG condition - without any rips, tears or seam splits, there are some creases, shelfwear, some scuffs and ringwear which is moreover noted on the reverse.
