A Roman iridescent pale green glass unguentarium, 1st-2nd century AD, with flat, everted rim, slender neck and conical body, the interior with a thick layer of silver iridescence, 4½in. (11.4cm.) high. * Condition: Intact, with no damage to the glass. The interior has a think layer of silver green iridescence and some light brown encrustation. Some further spots of light brown encrustation around the rim.
A Roman iridescent clear glass unguentarium, 1st-2nd century AD, with flat, everted rim, slender neck with slightly pinched-in joint to the pear shaped body, 5 5/8in. (14.25cm.) high. * Condition: Intact with no damage to the glass. Some light brown encrustsation to the exterior to one side, the neck and base.
A small Roman iridescent glass unguentarium, 1st-2nd century AD, in highly iridescent clear glass, of drawn, elongated teardrop shape with slightly everted rim, 4 5/8in. (11.7cm.) high; together with two other unguentariums, both damaged. (3) * Condition: - Elongated teardrop form example: Intact with no damage. Good silver-purple iridescence throughout with a smal amount of light brown encrustation. - Elongated form with four-sided body: Broken at joint of neck and body and also damaged just below rim. Both breaks with old taped repair. - Globular form with short neck and wide rim: Large hole to one side of body and some loose shards of glass.
A small collection of various gramophone and phonograph horns for restoration, to include large copper version having a painted red interior, 26 3/8in. (59.5cm.) long, diameter 17½in. (44.4cm.); large brass version with metal end tip, 27 1/8in. (69cm.) long, diameter 17¼in. (43.8cm.), both needing light restoration and polish, together with a copper flower head version and a green painted flower head version, aluminium versions and a vintage horn speaker, seven pieces. (restoration needed unless stated)
A 19th century violin, the inside of the body labelled 'Carlo Antonio Testore figlio Maggiore del fu Carlo Giuseppe in Contrada larga al segno dell'Aquila 1749', with two piece back with faint line curl, similar wood to the sides, neck and head, the table of medium width grain widening to the sides, inlaid purfling, light reddish-brown varnish, 14 1/8in. (35.9cm.), in early 20th century case with similar period bow. * Condition: Modern chin rest, stringing and bridge. Heavy worn patch to varnish beneath chin rest and heavy wear elsewhere to neck, top, centre and bottom of back and upper right of table. Some wear to edges throughout and particularly heavy wear and small, worn-smooth chips to the right hand upper edge from extensive use. Table has scattered small scratches and nicks to varnish throughout. Old, hairline crack to table at upper left from top edge to F-hole. Shorter similar crack to right hand side of fingerboard from top edge, with possible old glued repair to top edge.
A Canadian studio pottery wood fired vase by Larry Aguilar, with organic autumnal decoration, script signature to base, 7½in (19cm.) high; together with a vase and plate attributed to Ghita Levin, both signed to base in gold. (3) * Condition: Each piece with no cracks, chips or hairlines found, some very light wear.
Second World War German Trench Art interest - German U-Boat table lighter, the table / desk lighter fashion as submarine U-566, the U-Boat turret is the removable lighter with applied crown inscribed ' GOTT MIT UNS ', this fits snuggly in to the void on the twin bullet tube, the main body with two applied badges and inscribed ' U-566 OELT.Z.S. REMUS DECEHBER 1942 MAAT. F.TOHLEN ', raised on bullet supports and sitting on hardwood base, 11in. (28cm.) long. * Originally from a world-renowned collection ** German submarine U-566 was a type VIIC U-Boat of Nazi Germany's Kregsmarine during World War II, She was scuttled by her crew on 24th October 1943 after being damaged by six depth charges from British Wellington aircraft in the North Atlantic, West of Portugal. * Condition: Good, needs light polish, nothing to note.
First World War Trench Art - Royal Irish Rifles Vickers machine gun on coffin base - Battle of the Somme Thiepval Wood interest, the superb brass model having a Vickers machine gun with adjustable bipod, turned wooden handles and other moving parts, the bipod slots into raised pins on the coffin shaped base that's applied with Royal Irish Rifles Regimental Crest, and shaped plaque ' THIEPVAL WOOD JULY 1916 ', 12¼in. (31.2cm.) long, the gun measuring 10¾in. (27.4cm.). * Originally from a World-renowned collection. * Condition: Very good, light polish needed, nothing to note.
A World War One RGLI war medal, of 1662 A. Corporal S. Jehan Royal Guernsey Light Infantry, no ribbon or bar; together with a 3rd Royal Guernsey Militia shoulder badge and one other badge. (3) * Condition: - Medal: One side has been polished, the other is tarnished. Good overall. - Badges: Gilt worn to 3rd Reg. badge. The other is missing the pin.
A pair of WWI Death Plaques and ephemera - relating to brothers Walter and Bertie De La Mare - Royal Guernsey Light Infantry, Walter De La Mare, Pte 1516, age 24, 1st Bn, (Cambrai Memorial) and Bertie De La Mare, Pte 1515, age 21, 1st Bn, (point-du Jour Military Cemetery), both killed in action on the same day, 1st December, 1917. Comes with accompanying Everlasting Memory poster and ' In Loving Memory ' booklet with original portrait photograph relating to Walter, The War Graves of The British Empire booklet and LES TORTÉVALAIS parish magazine (winter 2006) with information on the pair, who are the only victims of the Great War commemorated on the Torteval war memorial, and whose names also appear on the St Pierre du Bois memorial.
An early 20th century civil service court sword, the 31in. steel blade with etched George V crown cypher and foliage, by H. Poole & Co., Savile Row, London, the brass hilt with crown terminal and beaded borders, with original brass mounted leather scabbard and accompanying book (see below). (2) * Provenance: Formerly the property of William Stephen Holley (1920-2005), Private Secretary to H. E. The Governor of Borneo, Sir Ralph Hone in the early 1950s and later appointed Head of the Civil Service in 1964. Author of 'A White Headhunter in Borneo', pub. 2004. * Condition: The blade with light pitting, the brass mounted leather scabbard with tape repair and the lower brass mounted section has become detached.

(99 x 76.2cm.). * Condition: In fair condition with light fading a tiny nicks to edges, some fly damage.
Jersey Honorary Police interest - An extremely rare Victorian turned mahogany and painted " Baton de Justice " from the Parish of St Martin, 1890s, the crown finial above a painted Jersey crest, flanked by the inscription ' St MARTIN'S POLICE ', the reverse with ' VR ' cypher on black ground highlighted in gold, the lower turned and tapering section that can be unscrewed, with fifteen rings and terminating in a turned bun terminal, 9¾in. (24.8cm.) long. * Condition: Very good, having light paint chips and rubbing to gilt area's.
A 19th century style wax anatomical model of a womans torso, with distended lower belly, life size, possibly caused by parasites, tumour, disease, pregnancy, etc. A very hard to find example due to most antique wax models being white in colour. * Condition: In very good condition with light surface marks.
A deluxe Mappin & Webb Cluedo set board game - the suspects and weapons in sterling silver, the superb quality board game with fine coloured leather board, lifting to reveal storage for game pieces, including leather dice shakers; dice; detective note cards; area and weapon cards; leather card pouch; silver weapons and suspects pieces - all hallmarked for London, 2004, the suspects enamelled with the conforming colour, the base making the board plinth, 24¾in. (63cm.) square at widest, with original box. * Condition: The outer box with tape holding in corners, lightly stained and with light surface wear. The game pieces and board very good hardly used.
A Moulin Huet Guernsey Pottery stoneware crock, with single knopped handle to one side, the other a loop, decorated in a mottled sgraffito effect on light mustard ground, 7½in. (19cm.) diameter; together with a similar crock, twin handled dish and a bowl, all of the same design. (4) * Condition: No faults found, all appear good.
JAMES BOND - The Golden Gun replica film prop, a copy of the famous Golden Gun used by villain Francisco Scaramanga in The Man with the Golden Gun, from ' The James Bond Collection ', sections unscrewing, the main body imitating a Colibra lighter (sealed), barrel a fountain pen, cufflinks, cigarette case etc, comes with wooden plaque. * Condition: The replica gun having light scratching throughout, some pieces with movement.
