London: for Mount and Davidson 1792, folio, engraved frontis, 47 plates in total including 40 double page maps and charts (2 laid down), 4 single page size, 1 folding chart of the River Avon (laid down), larger folding chart of the English Channel (laid down) and another of the River Thames (laid down and lacking a partial lower section). All loose and rather stained, some chipped and frayed with losses to margins and edges, in contemporary calf boards; with inserted sheets including 'Directions for Ships sailing by the Goodwin Light, 1795' and another similar for Ramsgate Harbour. Sold not subject to return.

A late Victorian silver helmet-shaped hexagonal pedestal cream jug, Walter & John Barnard, London, 1882, reeded rim and handle, raised on stepped hexagonal base, 6¼in. (15.8cm.) high, together with a small cream jug by George Unite, 7.5 tr.oz. (2) * Condition: Both good with strong hallmarks, very light wear only.
An elegant Victorian silver ink stand, S Smith & Son, London, 1868, of rectangular form with cantered corners and beaded rim, having twin silver mounted octagonal tapering cut glass wells, fitting into shaped stand, central cast foliate scroll handle and pen aperture to each side, one engraved with stags head above banner 'SUPER OMNIA VIRTUS', raised on winged paw feet, 12½ x 8¾in. (31.8 x 22.3cm.), weight without wells 34.0 tr.oz. * Condition: Light surface wear, hinges very slightly loose, one well with nibbles to rim of foot, overall good.
A late Victorian pierced silver swing handle basket centrepiece, Henry Statford, London, 1897, of shaped circular form with beaded rim and foliate pierced decoration, swing handle, centrally raised on four scroll feet, 11½in. (29.2cm.) diameter, weight 28.5 tr.oz. * Condition: Very good condition, light surface wear only.
A mid-century Rolex Shock-Resisting stainless steel mid-size manual wind wrist watch, 1950s, the 24.5mm. silvered dial with minute tracks, centre seconds, gilt Rolex crown and lumed gilt dot and batons markers with Arabic numerals at 2,4,6,8 and 10, the 30mm. case with plain crown, the signed Dennison for Rolex caseback numbered 12324 2789, signed 15 Rubis movement, no. 68000, with later black leather strap, in a blue flock Rolex box, * Condition: Winds and runs. Hands adjust correctly. One securing screw is detached from the movement but present - it appears to lack the lower threaded section, so cannot be re-fitted. Silvering to dial has dulled and light surface scratches to centre. Luming to batons and dots has dulled and degraded. There is no luming to the hands. Some scratching to plastic crystal. Expected scratching and small nicks to case from regular use. Strap good but not original or by Rolex. Box probably later.
An 18ct gold cased side wind half hunter pocket watch by J. W. Benson of London, hallmarked London1921, 47mm. diameter case with Royal Blue enamel Roman chapter ring to front case, white Roman enamel dial signed 'J. W. Benson London', gilt double spade hands, subsidiary seconds dial at six, movement cover engraved 'W. H. Stitson London 1921', the three quarter plate lever movement signed 'THE BANK BEST LONDON MAKE J2455 J. W. Benson LUDGATE HILL LONDON', comes in fitted red Morocco case, together with fancy gilt metal fob chain with 9ct gold mounted jade pendent. * Condition: Winds and works, vary small scratches to glass, enamel dial with hairline at eleven o'clock and mark at ten, (found with magnification), light surface wear to case, overall very good.
A ladies Rado Diastar ceramic and gold plated quartz wrist watch, c.1999, ref. 153.0283.3, no. 33073889, the rectangular graphite grey dial with faceted gilt dot markers and diamond set markers at 12 and 6, 17.5mm. case, original ceramic and gold plated bracelet, with box and papers. * Condition: Good condition. Not currently in running order - probably simply requires a new battery. Small chip to bottom left corner of crystal, tiny chip to lower right corner. Expected light scratching to case and bracelet. Box has some marks and small nicks/cracks to grey leatherette covering.

RW 5000 movement, black engine turned dial, applied luminous tipped baton markers, outer tachymetre scale, luminous baton hands, yellow centre chronograph hand, three subsidiary dials for constant seconds, 30 minute and 12 hour recording, day and date apertures at 3, polished bezel, screwed down glazed back, original bracelet with deployant clasp, no box or papers. * Condition: In running order when catalogued and chronograph seconds working correctly. Signs of use so some scratching to case, bracelet and bezel and a couple of deeper nicks to bezel. Light scratching to crystal. Clasp functions correctly. No box or papers.
An early Rolex 18ct gold cased gentleman's manual wristwatch, caseback engraved and dated 27.2.21, signed, engine turned Rolex 15 jewel movement, silvered dial signed 'Rolex', with sub seconds at six, black printed Arabic numerals with outer minute track, 32mm. polished case, later black leather strap. * Condition: Winds and runs. Some old oil deposits to movement and a little surface rust along one edge. Tools marks from opening to case edge. Dial VG with a little faint spotting. Light scratching to crystal. Caseback engraved and has two small dings but overall good.
Four mid-century 9ct gold cased wrist watches, all manual wind, comprising an Art Deco style gents watch, Chester 1932, with silvered square Arabic dial and Rone 15J movement, later gold plated Fixo-Flex strap; two ladies watches with circular silvered Arabic dials, one by Benson with Swiss 15J movement, the other by Record, London 1929, with signed movement, later plated straps; and an Art Deco period cocktail watch with octagonal champagne dial, unsigned, gilt metal strap, some faults. (4)* Condition: - Art Deco square dial: Dial tarnished. Lacks subsidiary seconds hand. Some surface rust spots to movement - running when catalogued. Case good, Strap replaced.- Benson: Not running. Military interest - A rare commissioned presentation letter opener or retiring momento fashioned as a British L1A3 bayonet combat fighting knife, Garrard & Co Ltd, London, 1954, the silver blade with inscription ‘BRIGADIER C.A.R.NEVILL . C.B.E.,D.S.O. FROM THE OFFICERS H.Q 6INF BDE & WUPPERTAL GRN. OCT.1954’, the handle with applied silver and enamel flag, the miniature knife is well modelled and appears to be a exact replica, 5in. (12.7cm.) long, gross weight 1.4tr.oz., with later hand-made bespoke wooden cradle for display. * Condition: Light surface wear only, very good, strong hallmarks and inscription.
A 9ct gold half hunter keyless wind pocket watch, retailed by Benson of London, hallmarked London 1934, 15 jewel Swiss lever movement, matt gilt three quarter plate, signed 'J. W. Benson', case no. 60393, signed white Roman enamel dial with subsidiary seconds and blued steel hands, plain case with black enamelled Roman chapter ring to case front, 45mm. diameter, in original faux-snakeskin box, with a 9ct yellow gold curb link fob chain. * Condition: Winds and runs, movement in good condition, with just a small scratch to the plate. Dial VG. Case good with expected light scratching throughout. No damage to enamel. Fob chain in good condition. Box has some wear to edges, corners and lid.

Auguste Raymond - a 14ct gold cased full hunter keyless wind pocket watch, 1930s, with matt gilt lever movement, the matt gilt chequered dial signed 'Arsa', with applied blued steel Arabic numerals and hands, gilt dotted outer minute track, subsidiary seconds dial, in a 51mm. striped engine turned case with husk decorated edge and engraved monogram, overwound. * Condition: Has been overwound and is not currently in running order. Lacks glass (glass bezel is loose). Small dent to lower edge of front cover. A few light scuffs and scratches to dial. Cuvette is rolled gold base metal.

Dial has some spotting and light blistering to the paint and a scratch to the left side. Case good overall, but caseback has engraved name and date. Strap worn.
A rare novelty Victorian silver vesta case in the form of a Japanese Noh Mask, Lawrence Emanuel, Birm. 1887, Rd, No. 78317, the reverse decorated in the Aesthetic style with birds and foliage, flat hinge to upper reverse, the lower with striker, 2in. (5cm.) long, weight 0.55 tr.oz. * Condition: Very light wear only, very good.
A very rare Edwardian Wilcox’s patent butler’s silver wrist worn vesta case, Mathew Wilcox & Son, Birm. 1903, the rectangular silver box section with hinged cover inscribed with initials ‘B.J.R’ & ‘WILCOX PATENT’ to side, each end with brown leather wrist straps, one with striking plate, box section measuring 1 5/8in. (4.2cm.), weight 1.0 tr.oz. * Condition: Good condition, leather with light wear.
A Victorian “Sentry Box” silver and enamel vesta case, Samson Mordan & Co. London, 1886, the front enamelled with a depiction of a soldier of ‘The Seaforth Highlanders’ standing to attention, the top triangular section lifting with side hinge for access to vestas, stamped with Rd. No. 38238, base with striking plate, 2 3/8in. (6cm.) high, gross weight 0.83 tr.oz. * Condition: Light surface wear, strong hinge, very good.
