A late Victorian hand shaped stick pin, the hand shaped terminal holding a step cut green stone doublet, 2cm long; together with a hand shaped clasp, the textured hand with a stone set finger, 2.3cm long, 5.8g grossCondition Report: The stick pin may be rolled gold, there is some perishing to the pin, but when acid is put on the perishing it doesn't react, however a destructive scrape has not been used due to the delicate nature of the piece. A ropetwist chain necklace and bracelet, with textured interlocking links, the necklace to a pierced scrolled clasp, 41cm long, the bracelet with a lobed barrel clasp, 22cm long, 61g grossCondition Report: The bracelet and necklace were originally a longer chain, there solder to the ends from resizing, the pierced scrolled clasp has a later added loop, and the tongue has been repaired. There are a couple of splits to links, but they are difficult to find due to the nature of the interlocking links, some pulls to links. The pierced clasp has some losses to the decoration. A George III Irish silver oblong baluster sugar bowl and cream jug, no maker's marks, Dublin 1809, sugar bowl with twin harp handles, a gadrooned border, engraved with decorative bands and a coronet above a crest, on four ball feet, 22.52cm (9in) long, 463g (14.9 oz)The crest for Nathaniel CURZON (1751-1837) 2nd Baron Scarsdale. He inherited his title at the death of his father also Nathaniel CURZON (1726-1804) the 1st Baron. His mother was Lady Caroline COLYEAR daughter of Charles COLYEAR (1700-1785) 2nd Earl of Portmore. In 1777 he married Sophia-Susanna NOEL daughter of Edward NOEL (1715-1774) who was created Viscount Wentworth in 1762. Before inheriting the title of Baron he was MP for Derbyshire. The family seat was Kedleston Hall, Derbyshire.
