MORGEN - S/T LP (60s PSYCH - ABC/ PROBE - CPLP 4507 S). A scarce LP copy of the 1969 self-titled and only album by NYC psychedelic/ fuzz group Morgen (CPLP 4507 S, 1969 US pressing on ABC/ Probe Records. Labels with pressing ring are nice, bright and clean. Includes the fold-out insert, back side has some staining. The record is quality Ex condition, displaying a couple of wispy/ hairline paper marks to each side. The thick card gatefold sleeve is in G+ condition. The cover appears to have suffered some water damage, thus causing some discolouration and light rippling. The rear top edge has a split and there is a remainder stock pin hole through the bottom right corner).

FROGGIE BEAVER - FROM THE POND LP (PRIVATE RELEASE - DSI 7301). From The Pond was the self-released and only LP by short-lived Nebraskan psych/ prog rock group Froggie Beaver (DSI 7301, 1973 US privately released stereo pressing on Froggie Beaver Records. Yellow labels with black text have some water damage staining. The record itself is in beautiful Ex condition, displaying only a couple of wispy/ hairline paper marks. The sleeve has nice bright covers, displaying only light edge ring wear and some tape along the left end of the top edge and some of the spine edge, VG+).

THE HAUNTED - S/T LP (CANADIAN GARAGE - TRANS WORLD - TW-6701). A gem of mid-60s garage rock by Canadian group The Haunted, this is a scarce original Canadian LP pressing of their self-titled debut and only album (TW-6701, 1967 Canadian pressing on Trans-World Record Co Inc. Yellow labels with deep groove are bright and legible, side 1 label has a name written on it. The record itself is glossy, strong VG+ condition, with each side displaying a very small number of hairline/ light paper marks. The thick card sleeve has bright, glossy covers and displays minimal edge storage wear. A superb copy of this rare garage rock classic).

A superb, original US stereo pressing of Texas heavy psych group Dragonfly's self-titled LP (MS-1202, 1968 US stereo pressing on Megaphone Records. Deep-groove labels with the added credits for track A4 "Popcorn/Cord/Waljo Music (BMI)" - both labels are bright and clean. MS 33121 H/ 21 H matrix. The record is bright and glossy, each side displays a number of hairline paper marks, nothing feelable. Nice VG+ condition. The gatefold sleeve has some edge storage wear, a small tear at the bottom of the rear, a name written on the cover and inside of the sleeve and the bottom right corner of the cover has some light creasing. Strong VG condition).

Labels are bright and clean. Side 1 is in strong VG+ condition, displaying a couple of light/ hairline paper marks/ side 2 is Ex, only a couple of lighter/ wispy paper marks on this side. The front laminated sleeve is in quality Ex condition. The cover is bright and glossy and the rear has some minor ring wear. A beautiful copy).

A sought-after original Jamaican LP pressing of King Tubby's Prophecy Of Dub by reggae legends The Prophets (1976 Jamaican pressing on Prestige Records. VJ-8124-A/ B matrix. Peachy/ orange text labels are bright and clean. The record is in lovely Ex condition, each side displays a small number of hairline/ light paper marks. The sleeve is in bright clean shape, has an original Kingston shop sticker on the back cover. Displays only minor edge storage wear. Ex).

An original programme booklet for the 'Annual Urmston Show' on the 5th August 1963 which featured performances by The Beatles, Brian Poole and the Tremeloes, The Dennisons. Measures 13 x 20.5cm. Excellent condition, staples unrusted, fully intact, pages clean and white, some light creasing to covers, a scuff to corner. Provenance: owned by the vendor since they attended the fair.

An early UK mono copy of The Rolling Stones - Their Satanic Majesties Request (blue Decca, deep groove, lenticular sleeve, T-2 1K, disc VG+ with light scuffs, sleeve VG+) accompanied by a typed letter dated 10th January 1968 from Pink Floyd manager Peter Jenner complaining about a copy of TSMR he had purchased. Also a reply dated 15th Jan 1968 from Decca promising a response from their Record Sales Dept. It is not known whether this copy is the faulty one mentioned in Mr. Jenner's letter.

A superb, original US Scranton, PA pressing of the Chocolate Watch Band's 1967 debut LP No Way Out (ST-5096, 1967 US Scranton, PA pressing on Tower. Pressing indicated by the "I AM" in the matrix. ST1-5096-B2 IAM/ ST2-5096-B2 IAM matrix. The labels are bright and clean. The record is clean and glossy, displaying a couple of light/ hairline paper marks on each side. Strong VG+ condition. The sleeve with factory code "6" on the bottom right of the rear is in great shape. Displaying minimal edge storage wear and some light ring wear to the cover, quality Ex condition).

THE BEATLES - LET IT BE BOX LP w/ BOOKLET (PXS 1). A excellent copy of the Let It Be (PXS 1) boxed LP set with booklet. LP (PCS 7096, 2U/ 2U matrix. Labels are bright and clean. Record is glossy VG+, it displays a small number of hairline/ wispy paper marks/ sleeve with red apple on the rear is in superb Ex condition, displaying a couple of very light edge cover creases. The box that includes both tray inserts and outer slipcase are all in solid VG/ VG+ condition/ the inner tray that holds the booklet has a small tear. The booklet is in quality VG+ condition, has a crease to the right bottom corner of the cover. A nice copy).

THE BEATLES - REVOLVER LP (ORIGINAL UK WITHDRAWN MIX COPY - PMC 7009). A very well-presented copy of the scarce "withdrawn" mix of The Beatles 1966 studio album Revolver. The first issue with XEX-606-1 matrix number on Side 2 contains the withdrawn version ("Remix 11") of "Tomorrow Never Knows". The record is (PMC 7009) is in glossy VG condition with a number of light surface marks on each side, nothing feelable. The sleeve is in very sharp Ex+ condition, a beautiful example).

An original 1st US copy of Bob Dylan - Bob Dylan (CL 1779, six-eye, CLP1779, XLP 55619-1E P to side one runout, VG/VG+ with light scuffs across playing sides, clean original inner, Ex sleeve). The reverse of sleeve is signed clearly in blue ink by Bob Dylan who has also inscribed "Me" - next to his printed name on the sleeve. Also included is the original Scheaffer's fountain pen, owned by the vendor since the period and which was used to sign the sleeve. Provenance: the vendor worked on the RMS Queen Mary transatlantic route in the 1960s between Southampton and New York, and when in NYC was a frequent attendee at folk clubs in Greenwich Village. In September 1961 he attended a performance by Bob Dylan at 'Gerdes Folk City', making a recording (see lot 471 here) and taking several photographs. He had the photographs developed the following day and returned the following night, whereupon he asked Dylan to sign them. In 1962 on another visit he asked Dylan to sign a copy of his debut album (this lot). He also obtained handwritten directions/instructions from Dylan (on the back of an original ticket for this performance at 'Gerde's) on how to visit Woody Guthrie, who was in hospital at the time (see lot 470 here), this note featured in the book 'My Name Is New York' (Powerhouse Books, NYC).

A scarce, original German LP pressing of We Are Painterman, the 1967 debut album by British freakbeat group The Creation (HTSLP 340037, 1967 German pressing on Hit-Ton Schallplatten. Labels are bright and legible, both sides have a name written on them. The record is bright and glossy, each side displays a number of hairline/ light paper marks. Side 2 has a light but feelable hairline mark, VG. The front laminated sleeve has some tape along the bottom edge and a name written on the back cover. Laminated cover is bright and glossy, the sleeve has only minor age-related handling/ storage wear, VG+).

Rex and related archive with the original 1976 Abbey Road 7" acetate from Gloria Jones with I Ain't Going (commercially released as 'I Ain't Going Nowhere'). The single sided acetate is in sharp and glossy Ex condition showing only a couple of light and minor surface hairline marks and without any heavier feelable scratches. The printed label (with handwritten artist/title/length as '3. 10') is in clean order.

T. REX - I LOVE TO BOOGIE 7" (ORIGINAL UK ABBEY ROAD ACETATE RECORDING). Fantastic to see original 1976 UK 7" (single sided) acetate recording from T. Rex with I Love To Boogie. The acetate is in VG condition with some light surface marks and with some minor fading to the playing surface, though without any heavier feelable scratches. The printed label (with handwritten artist/title/track length as '2. 16') is in clean order.

The record (machine stamped matrix YMARC 6 A-1 with LPFB machine stamped on the non-playing side, with original serrated rim) is in sharp Ex condition showing only a couple of very light and minor paper surface hairline marks. White labels with handwritten title information (erroneously stating 'B. Sitting Here' - as stated this recording is single sided).

T. REX - RIDE A WHITE SWAN / JEWEL / SUMMERTIME BLUES 7" - ORIGINAL UK WHITE LABEL TEST PRESSING WITH MARC BOLAN HANDWRITING - OCTOPUS RECORDS (OCTO 1). Remarkable to uncover original UK white label test pressing from T. Rex with Ride A White Sun c/w Jewel and Summertime Blues with this copy incredibly containing Marc Bolan's handwriting on both labels. With only a couple of known test pressings known to exist (Record Collector stating only 2/3 test pressings were produced), the record contains machine stamped matrix OCTO 1 & OCTO 2 - the release on Octopus Records (an attempt to mimic the American Tarantula Label) had its name changed to Fly while trying to work out a distribution deal with Island Records with the commercial B side released with 'Is It Love' rather than 'Jewel'. The deal fell through and Fly connected with EMI, who officially released the record as BUG 1. The record is in solid VG condition with some light surface marks/scuffs though no heavier feelable scratches. The textured white labels contain Marc Bolan's handwriting 'A Ride A White Swan T Rex' and 'Jewel, Summertime Blues T Rex'. An unbelievable piece of T. Rex history that has never been sold publicly.

MARC BOLAN - HARD ON LOVE LP - ORIGINAL UK IBC STUDIOS ACETATE RECORDING. Stupefying piece of Marc Bolan history with the original IBC Sound Recording Studios (double sided) acetate LP recording of the album that would later be released in 1974 as 'The Beginning Of Doves' (Bolan placed an injunction on the album to not be released in 1972). The acetate (with printed IBC Sound Recording Studios labels) is in lovely Ex condition. Showing only a couple of very light and minor surface marks to the very clean playing surfaces, none of these are ever heavier in nature without any feelable scratches to note and without any deterioration to the lacquer. The original picture cover (which was also withdrawn) is in neat VG+ condition with a few light and minor creases though no rips or tears and with the spine fully legible.

COMPLEX - COMPLEX LP (ORIGINAL UK SELF-RELEASED PRESSING TD 6869/CLPM 001). A fantastic condition original UK self-released copy of the fabled eponymous 1970 LP from the Blackpool lads Complex. The record is in very sharp Ex condition showing only a couple of very light and minor surface hairline marks, these never at all heavier feelable scratches. With sharp and clean labels showing only some minor spindle marks. Machine stamped matrix JET TD 6869 B (crossed out) A & JET TD 6869 B. The hand made sleeve is in lovely Ex condition presented in very clean order indeed - with a small seam split on the top right section (front pasted image), this with some care could potentially be restored. Elsewhere in great shape with a little foxing to the reverse.

COMPLEX - THE WAY WE FEEL LP (ORIGINAL UK COPY - DEROY DER 671 S). The virtually non-existent second adventurous LP from Blackpool legends Complex - this a solid original UK 'green sleeve' copy released by Deroy. The record is in superb Ex+ condition. A fantastic example, there are only a couple of very light and wispy paper marks/scuffs, these as stated extremely minor and light. Matrix (machine stamped): DER 671 S A1 & DER 671 S B1. The original sleeve is in VG condition. Showing some 'wavy' creasing marks to the front and reverse, the reverse top left section on the reverse is torn. Still maintaining good integrity, very few sleeves are known to have survived!

FIVE DAY RAIN - FIVE DAY RAIN LP (ORIGINAL UK WHITE LABEL TEST PRESSING). Amazing to uncover original (UK) white label test pressing of the only eponymous 1970 LP from Five Day Rain. This copy is generously consigned from the son of original bass player Clive Shepherd. The record (white labels with hand written artist information) is in solid VG condition showing some light surface marks/scuffs though absolutely no heavier feelable scratches. Machine stamped in the matrix 'A' and 'B'. The band never saw an official release at the time and which took some 20 years to resurface. The band had been formed in early 1970 when Sussex-based power trio Iron Prophet was augmented by Graham Maitland of The Scots Of St. James and Les Fleur De Lys. By the beginning of 1971 the band had broken up, with some members moving to Studd Pump. One of only a handful of copies that are known to exist.

The controversial quickly withdrawn original 2012 LP from The Stranglers, this copy fully signed by JJ Burnel, Jet Black, Baz Warne and Dave Greenfield. Side 2 of the record is in VG condition with a number of surface hairline marks though no feelable scratches. With Ex condition printed inner. Extremely scarce (believed to only have been a few hundred produced) promotional French only 1984 7" release from The Cure with Shake Dog Shake c/w The Top. The A side of the record is in glossy Ex condition showing only a couple of light and minor surface hairline marks. Interestingly with the label misprinted showing the red printing 'misaligned' (this does not enter the playing surface). The B side is in VG condition with some surface marks though no heavier feelable scratches.

The record (Middle Earth MDSL 303) is in very clean Ex condition showing only a couple of very light and minor surface scuffs, these not at all heavier feelable scratches. The non-textured sleeve is in VG condition with some creasing and some noted shelfwear (the spine is not legible) though no rips, tears or seam splits.

There is rubbing to the gilt. The stopper has some small chips around the base. No other apparent cracks, chips or restoration. Some rubbing to the base. Signs of general wear consistent with age and usage including light scratches. Would benefit from a clean.

Light oak bank of twenty four filing drawers, ply lined, width 101cm, depth 42cm, height 48cm.Condition report:Tere are twenty four drawers, not eighteen. There are some patches of wear to the centre front of the top surface. There is a length of veneer missing on the lower rear corner of the right hand side. Various drawer fronts have notches, some lost lengths of the grips, etc. Some drawer fronts have glued repairs where they have split across the width. The ply linings appear to be later additions and in theory could be removed to get more space within each drawer. As they currently are the interior space measures 12cm wide, drawer depth is 35cm, and the height is 8cm. If the ply was removed then the measurements would be closer to 13.2cm wide, 35cm deep, and the height of the side rails would be about 4cm.

Large Dresden porcelain four-light figural candelabra, the floral encrusted arms supported on a stem modelled as a woman with child, 47cm.Condition report:Height is 47cm. width (between to sconces) 28cm. Base width 16cm.Three of the four leaf scones have old restorations/ repairs to the leaf tips. The upper scone has one leaf tip reglued, and two from the lower trio have restored leaf tips with the ends being rebuilt/ repainted. No other evident restoration. Candle wax drips throughout. Some minor chipped losses to the applied flowers and foliage. The base section is largely ok. Some wear to the gilt outlines of the serpentine base. The filler used to bond the sections together is a little heavily applied, but it is still strongly securing all parts as one.
