SONNY ROLLINS - US BLUE NOTE LPs. Two classics here from Sonny. A Night At The Village Vanguard (US, Blue Note, BLP 1581, orig inner, later RE likely circa '62, Ex with wispy marks across both sides but nothing to affect play, sleeve Ex with light shelf wear), and Vol.2 (US, Blue Note, BLP 1558, orig inner, 47 West on label, VG very very clean but with a feelable scratch to side 2, sleeve VG+ with corner damage).

Three from the legendary pair: Blues Is My Companion (UK, Mono, Columbia, 33SX 1223, Ex+/Ex+), Blues All Around My Head (US, Prestige/Bluesville, BVLP 1020, Ex+/Ex with price sticker to front of sleeve), Sonny Terry - Harmonica Blues (UK, Topic, 12T30, Ex with some light marks to both playing sides, sleeve VG+ with ringwear and some creasing).

Three Bop/Jazz titles here: Thelonious Monk - The Unique Thelonious (UK, London American Jazz, LTZ.U.15071, Ex with non feelable mark on side 2 and light scuffs/hairlines, sleeve Ex+), Ray Bryant Trio (US, RE, Status ST 8227, Ex+/Ex+), Horace Silver Quintet and Trio (US, Blue Note, BLP 4017, orig inner, RVG/P both sides in matrix, "Blue Note Records Inc • New York USA" address, both sides., side one deep groove, side two microgroove, Ex/Ex+).
THE OLIVER NELSON SEXTET - SCREAMIN' THE BLUES. Super clean copy of a sought after one. Here's The Oliver Nelson Sextet Featuring Eric Dolphy And Richard Williams ?– Screamin' The Blues (UK, Esquire, 32-148, Ex with very light scuffs/marks none that should affect play, sleeve Ex with light ringwear/creasing, paper losses).
JIMMY DEUCHAR QUARTET AND SEXTET ?– PAL JIMMY (TEMPO, TAP 20). Super desirable original UK mono issue with Tubby Hayes playing with Jimmy Deuchars, with this copy being a factory sample to boot (with sticker to label and to sleeve). Here's: Jimmy Deuchar Quartet and Sextet ?– Pal Jimmy (UK, Mono, Tempo, TAP 20, clean Ex which would be Ex+ if not for a few visible but light wispy hairlines and scuffs and some pen to label, sleeve is strong VG+ with some creasing and pen to reverse).
THE LONDON JAZZ QUARTET (TEMPO, TAP 28). Really lovely copy of another hot one on Tempo. Here's Tubby Hayes in The London Jazz Quartet - The London Jazz Quartet (UK, Mono, Tempo, TAP 28, factory sample copy with sticker to label, matrix side one VMGT-1633-1B, Ex with some visible but light scuffs on playing surfaces, sleeve VG+ with some creasing. shelf wear and ring wear).

Here's: Music is the Healing Force Of The Universe (French, Impulse, AS-9191, Ex+/Ex with stickers), In Greenwich Village (US, Ex with some light marks and scuffs, Ex sleeve with stickers), Love Cry (French, Stereo, Impulse, A-9165, Ex+/Ex with stickers), The Last Album (US, Stereo, Ex/Ex with stickers and some shelf wear/ring wear).
BRENDA HOLLOWAY - PLAY IT COOL, STAY IN SCHOOL US PROMO. Kicking off the Soul section with the promo of Brenda Holloway - Play it Cool, Stay in School on Tamla label (T-Special Project - Z1IL-206312). Vinyl is in VG+ condition with lots of light hairlines but none which affect the sound. Clean labels and housed in original black Tamla company sleeve. CHICO LEVERETT - SOLID SENDER US TAMLA. Another big one here with Chico Leverett - Solid Sender c/w I'll Never Love Again on yellow Tamla label ( MT-54024). Vinyl is in VG+ condition with light hairlines but none which affect the sound. Clean labels with just 2 red crosses on A-side and housed in original black Tamla company sleeve. THE DALTON BOYS - ALTERNATE MIX ACETATE OF TAKE MY HAND. Super rare and possibly unique version of Take My Hand presented on an uncut single sided 10" acetate. Recorded in Hitsville in August 1965 this version appears to have been rejected as "more voice presence needed". The playing surface of the 7" record on 10" acetate is in excellent condition with just a couple of light marks. The printed labels have the number "CBMN-2508-NH1", date of "8/30/65", track time of "2.43" and track name and group down as "Take My Heart / The Dalton Boys" although heart has been crossed out in black ink and corrected to "Hand". The acetate is still in its original Transco Products Corp. sleeve. Includes invoice from when it was originally purchased.
WILL HATCHER - THIS AND THAT ON THELMA. Classic cut of Detroit Soul here from Will Hatcher with This and That c/w It Takes Two on Thelma Records (TY42282). Vinyl in lovely Ex+ condition with just a couple of very light marks. DJ stamp on both labels and 2 faint crosses on "This & That" side.
THE DOWNBEATS (ELGINS) - PUT YOURSELF IN MY PLACE. Rare copy of Put Yourself in My Place c/w Darling Baby on V.I.P. (VIP25029) with miscredit on label for Downbeats when it should be The Elgins. Vinyl is very clean and comfortably grades Ex - just a few light scuffs and hairlines. Clean labels and presented in original Hitsville company sleeve.
MARY LOVE - TURNED MY BITTER INTO SWEET & HEY STONEY FACE. Another fine pair this time from Mary Love with original of You Turned My Bitter Into Sweet c/w I'm In Your Hands (Modern 45x1006 - VG+ - small area on one side with numerous light scuffs) and Hey Stoney Face c/w I've Gotta Get You Back (Modern 45x1010 - lovely Ex+). Both come in original Modern Records company sleeves.
FANTASTIC FOUR - CAN'T STOP LOOKING FOR MY BABY. Another rarity from The Fantastic Four on Ric-Tic - this time it is the DJ version of Can't Stop Looking for My Baby c/w Just The Lonely (RT-121). In VG+/bordering Ex condition with a few light marks and hairlines but none that are heavy or will affect play.
CAROLYN CRAWFORD MOTOWN TRIO. Tantalising trio to include Forget About Me c/w Devil In His Heart (M-1050 - VG - lots of light hairlines but none heavy), My Smile is Just a Frown Turned Upside Down c/w I'll Come Running (Motown 1064 - VG) and When Someone's Good To You c/w My Heart (Motown 1070 - Ex+). All 3 presented in original red Motown company sleeves.
EDDIE HILL - YOU GOT THE BEST OF ME & I CAN HEAR YOU CRYING. Couple of big hits here to include You Got The Best of Me c/w Baby I Cried on Thelma (T-105 - VG - lots of light hairlines and scuffs but none heavy - clean labels) and I Can Hear You Crying c/w I Can't Help It on GeGe (GeGe502 - Ex - clean labels).
HARVEY FUQUA ACETATE RECORDING OF UNRELEASED TRACK "WILL I DO". Seemingly unreleased track by Harvey Fuqua with Ann Bogan entitled Will I Do. On a single sided acetate with printed labels reading Jobete Music Company Inc. "Will I Do". The acetate is in VG+ condition with a few light marks. Thought to have been written by Harvey Fuqua and Tommy Jones and possibly recorded in 1962 or 1963.
TOMMY GOOD - BABY I MISS YOU DJ PROMO. Another classic DJ promo on the Gordy label this time from Tommy Good with Baby I Miss You c/w Leaving Here (Gordy7034). Vinyl in solid Ex condition with a smattering of light hairlines. Release date written on one side of label and presented in original Hitsville company sleeve.
JAZZ CO-OP - JAZZ CO-OP LP (PHILIPS 6641 225). Australian only gatefold double LP here with musicians Roger Frampton, Howie Smith, Jack Thorncraft, Phil Treloar. In full: Jazz Co/Op - self titled (Philips 6641 225, discs both fantastic Ex+, sleeve Ex with ringwear and light marks to front and back, also with stickers to upper left of front).

Paul Gresham - Every Sound We Make (US, Stereo, Freelance FLS-3, 1978, promo stamped sleeve, disc glossy Ex+ both sides with very faint paper scuffs, sleeve Ex with light shelf wear and stickers to front, includes promotional press release from the label which bears 2cm tear from lower edge).
ROMANO MUSSOLINI TRIO - MIRAGE (PDU RECORDS - PLD A 6018). Extremely hard to find original Italian pressing LP from 1974 from the youngest son of Benito. Romano Mussolini - Mirage (Italy, PDU, 1974, record top Ex+ both sides, sleeve Ex with very light shelf wear/discolouration and the customary stickers on front ).

AS-9156, Ex+/Ex+ with stickers to front of sleeve), Universal Consciousness (US, stereo, Impulse! AS-9210, Ex+/Ex with stickers to front of sleeve), Journey In Satchidananda (US, stereo, Impulse! AS-9203, Ex+/VG+ with stickers to front of sleeve and some light damage/creasing to right edge).
ALBERT AYLER TRIO - SPIRITUAL UNITY SIGNED COPY (ESP 1002). Fantastic to see super rarity, with the back of the sleeve seemingly signed in blue marker pen by drummer Sonny Murray. Includes booklet by Paul Haines which has a coffee cup stain (Jazz writers!) to the reverse. Disc is glossy Ex with scuffs and light marks which should not affect playback, sleeve is VG+ with shelf wear. Mono, Esp-Disk, ESP 1002, 1965.

To include Um Um Um Um UK EP on Columbia (SEG8318 - Ex+/Ex+ - few light hairlnes and very light crease on sleeve), Um Um Um Um UK 7" release (DB7205 - Ex+) along with the following US catalogue numbers on the Okeh Label - 7175 (VG+), 7181 (VG+), 7187 (Ex in Ex+ p/s), 7191 (Ex+), 7197 (VG) and 7203 (F)
SEPTEMBER JONES - I'M COMING HOME DJ PROMO ON KAPP. Classic Northern Soul here from September Jones with I'm Coming Home c/w No More Love on Kapp (K-802). The record is in VG+ condition with light hairlines and scuffs and one slightly heavier just about feelable scratch across last minute of I'm Coming Home - this does play through but pops quietly as it goes over the scratch.
NEW LOVE LTD - ONE MAN AT A TIME c/w UNIVERSAL FUNK ON ARCO. A slab of Funk this time from New Love Ltd with One Man At A Time c/w Universal Funk on the Arco label (100). Record has quite a few light hairlines but still grades Ex - labels are clean and there is in fact a spare A-side label although it is torn.
PHAROAH SANDERS - PHAROAH (ESP 1003). Pharaoh's first here, an original US mono copy with that killer sleeve design. Pharoah Sanders - Pharoah (US, Mono, ESP Disk, ESP 1003, Ex with light paper marks and scuffs that shouldn't affect playback, clean labels, VG+ sleeve with stickers, tape repair and shelf wear.
LITTLE ANTHONY & THE IMPERIALS - BETTER USE YOUR HEAD UK LIBERTY DEMO. Super scarce copy of Better Use Your Head c/w The Wonder Of It All (UP1137). In Ex+ archive condition with just a couple of very light wispy hairlines. Has stickers on labels and housed in original United Artists company sleeve.
