George Carpentier boxer and actor signed vintage autograph album page. French boxer, actor and World War I pilot. He fought mainly as a light heavyweight and heavyweight in a career lasting from 1908 to 1926. Nicknamed the Orchid Man, he stood 5 feet 11 1?2 inches and his fighting weight ranged from 126 to 175 pounds. Carpentier was known for his speed, his excellent boxing skills and his extremely hard punch. Good condition. All signed items come with our certificate of authenticity. An 18 carat gold diamond solitaire ring, an old cut champagne diamond in a white claw setting with an extended underbezel, to yellow knife edge shoulders on a plain polished shank, estimated diamond weight 0.75 carat approximately, finger size K1/2The ring is in good condition. It is hallmarked with sponsor's mark 'CJM', London, 1965. The diamond measures 5.50mm x 5.50mm x 3.78mm approximately. The approximate qualities of the diamond are; colour fancy light brownish-yellow (champagne), clarity SI1/SI2. Gross weight 2.4 grams. Condition Report made 24th April 2017.
A blue guilloche enamel locket, a circlar locket with applied scroll decoration, hinged to open and with a glazed interor, on a 9 carat gold fancy link chain, locket measures 3.3cm in diameter, chain length 50cm The locket does not close. It appears to have been converted from a watch case. The enamel has light surface scratching. It is not hallmarked or stamped. The chain is hallmarked with sponsor's mark 'MAM', import Birminhgam, 1981. Gross weight 27.0 grams. Condition Report made 15th March 2017.
