A RARE 1807/08 PATTERN 10TH LIGHT DRAGOONS OR HUSSARS OFFICER'S SWORD, 79cm curved clipped back blade decorated with stylised calligraphy, celestial imagery and spears in the Talismanic fashion, highlighted in gilt, regulation copper gilt stirrup hilt with ornate langets applied with white metal badge and motto of the Prince of Wales, stepped pommel, wire bound fishskin grip, contained in its steel scabbard. Some pitting to the top portion of the blade and small patch of fishskin replaced. Liner lacking.

A SILVER ENCRUSTED ENGLISH SMALL SWORD OR LIGHT RAPIER WITH 1553 DATED BLADE, 74.75cm flattened diamond section blade chiselled and inlaid with copper at the forte ANO 1553 to either side, further chiselled and inlaid in copper with the running wolf emblem and decorated with a wriggly line along its length, characteristic hilt with up turned shell guard, recurving spatulate quillons and ovoid grip, the whole profusely decorated with silver flower heads and dot decoration, silver wire bound grip with Turk's heads.

A .650 CALIBRE FLINTLOCK CAVALRY CARBINE BY NOCK, 20inch barrel with Tower Private proofs, circa 1790, border engraved bevelled lock stamped with a crown over GR and signed H NOCK across the tail, full stocked with regulation brass mounts, the butt plate tang engraved 6 over 78, the left side mounted with a sling bar, swivel ramrod. While this carbine does not conform to existing known patterns, there is a suggestion on page 63 of Blackmore's book that Nock supplied five hundred carbines to Harcourt's 16th Light Dragoons. Repair to lower half of butt.

Arthur Augustus Whitelock Bright-Smith was promoted Captain in November 1883.

Feigl', the movement housed in spherical shaped case, white enamel dial with blue Roman numerals, key wind mechanism marked 'Lenzkirch' and numbered 307566, the underside with incised beehive mark , painted numbers and printed decorators mark for the Franz Dorfl studio, height 32cm, the pair of covered twin handled vases of oval form, pierced necks, the raised gilt ground painted with classical figures to both sides, on a short pedestal and mounted on an oval plinth, the bases bear hand painted numbers and faint printed decorators mark for the Franz Dorfl studio, height 36.5cm (3 + key) (Condition report: the clock is in working order, it winds and runs, light wear to the gilding, on obvious damage, one of the garniture lids has damage to the tip of the finial which has received amateur restoration, the same finial has also been broken off and glued back on, some of the gilding on both finials and rims has rubbed, the vases have been viewed under UV light, both have later dull gilding painted to the inside of the rims and one has a yellow substance to one end, some wear to the gilding, especially on the handles and around the base rims)

A PAIR OF LATE 19TH CENTURY CLEAR GLASS CONICAL VASES, the gilt geometric designs with red and blue glass bead jewelled decoration and white enamel details, one a.f., height 32cm, together with a late 19th century clear glass two section comport, the decagonal bowl with wavy rim and printies, star cut base, the hollow octagonal base with printies above a wavy rim, s.d., height 28cm (3) (Condition report: both vases have light wear to the gilding, the vase in good condition is missing only two or three of the beads but has one odd green one in amongst a lozenge design, the other has had extensive damage around the foot with glued repairs, one red bead missing and one of the blue beads is chipped, the damaged foot has more gilding loss, the comport has a number of chips of varying sizes to the pointed edges of the wavy rim on both the bowl and the pedestal as well as to the underside edge of the base, the bowl has been well used and exhibits a number of chips, scuffs and scratches to the underside of the base

A PAIR OF LATE VICTORIAN CARVED CORAL DROP EARRINGS, each designed as an elongated drop carved with horizontal and diagonal lines in cone shaped mount with engraved scrolling leaf detail and rope twist edging, suspended from a circular coral panel carved with a flower head design in a rope twist mount to the hook ear fittings, length 60mm, approximate weight 10.5 grams (condition report: overall fair to good condition, wear in keeping with the age of the piece, light to moderate tarnishing, would benefit from a gentle clean, some adhesive can be seen to the edge of each cone shaped mount, one of the circular mounts has a claw missing, there is some lead solder visible to the back of the joins at the top of the cone mounts)
