LMS glass lamp tablets MID CLYTH, LYBSTER, OCCUMSTER, all 3 from the former Wick and Lybster light railway operated by the Highland Railway and then the LMS. The branch was closed in 1944 which makes these exceptionally rare survivors. Transfer printed black on yellow mounted on glass measuring 10.5in x 3.5in. Some slight loss.
British Railways Board 9 carat Gold free pass issued to DAVID McKENNA. David McKenna became assistant general manager of the Southern Region of British Railways in 1955. He was subsequently at Lord Beeching's elbow as chief commercial officer for the British Transport Commission, before becoming chairman and general manager of the Southern Region, and a member of the British Railways Board until his retirement in 1976. In good condition with a light blue enamel face and hallmarked 9.375 with a date code for 1969 London.
