THE JIMI HENDRIX EXPERIENCE - ELECTRIC LADYLAND - A rare 1st UK pressing of the lauded album released on 25 October 1968 on Track (613008/9). This 1st pressing has a cover spread with 'unwrapped/floating' gloss laminate applied, matt print areas left exposed at the two cut edges where the albums insert. Blue text and Ernest J Day credits. Earliest A1/B1 "crossed out" matrix codes. The records are in Ex condition, with only a few light surface marks notable, perhaps with this more apparent on side B- though there are no deeper marks or scratches. The striking gatefold sleeve is in VG condition. There are no rips or tears, though there is wear to the lamintion both on the outside and inside when opened. Some minor edgewear.
DEEP PURPLE - SHADES OF DEEP PURPLE - A rare and well presented 1st UK pressing of the 1968 album release on Parlophone (PCS 7055). This pressing was issued on the yellow/black labels and 689/690 -1 matrix codes. The record is in Ex condition with just a few quite light surface marks. KT tax code on side 1. Contains original company inner. The sleeve is in Ex condition with just minor wear to the lamination.
THE ZOMBIES - BEGIN HERE SAMPLE - An extremely rare sample of Begin Here, issued on Decca (hand written catalogue number LL 3418). Track 1, "Sometimes" did not ever appear on the finished album, but on a later compilation. The record is single sided and contains 6 tracks. MATRIX: ARL 6618-1A. NB: This file number is earlier than the '6709' of the "recognised" test pressing and signifies that this was manufactured before any full-length, finished samples. The condition is Ex with only a couple of quite light surface marks, but no deeper scratches of any note. Contains (presumably) the original envelope that Decca would have sent this out in. A very rare item that will unlikely be seen on the market.
RECO RODREGUEZ - RECO IN REGGAE LAND - (From sleeve notes)- He is that handsome man on the front cover with his golden Trombone! A 1st UK mono pressing of the killer 1969 release on Pama (ECO 14). The record is in VG condition with some light surface marks, and a slightly deeper scratch on B4 which runs along the groove. The sleeve is in VG+ condition with not a huge amount of wear; with some staining to the reverse.
THE BEATLES - WHITE ALBUM - An original top opening stereo pressing of the 1968 release (numbered 0549083). This copy is complete with poster and photographs (Ex condition). The records are in VG+ to Ex condition with just a few light surface marks, perhaps more distinguishable on side 1. W/black inners. The embossed lettered sleeve is in VG+ condition with some light edgewear.
TITUS GROAN - A sought after self titled 1st and only studio album from Titus Groan issued on Dawn (DNLS 012). This copy is the 1st UK pressing with orange labels and black text. The record is in Ex condition with just a couple of light surface marks on side 2 and some minor spindle wear. MATRIX: A-3 *T + B-3 *T. The gatefold sleeve is in VG+ condition with some wear to the black desinged sleeve, but this is not a major feature. Some ringwear on the reverse- no rips or tears.
