A pair of 19th century walnut bobbin turned cane seated side chairs raised on tapering front legs and of good colour.Additional InformationOne of the frames is a little loose at the back, from the rear left leg after the second bobbin up the wood is detached and requires a little attention, both retain a wonderful colour, the caning on one chair is damaged, light surface wear throughout, otherwise ok.
GEORG JENSEN; a silver and enamel brooch designed by Arno Malinowski, model no.284, pierced and cast in low relief with a lamb before two enamel green leaves, stamped to the reverse, width 3cm.Additional InformationVery minor surface wear, some light tarnishing to the reverse but overall in lovely condition.

Overall even wear and corrosion to dark brown; a few crease marks; losses to ends and lower corners. All over octagons on a dark brown field within triple borders. Soft handle. (2)

Light red diamond-shape field with dark blue spandrels; all over floral and geometric motifs; Qashqa'i emblem in centre medallion and in the spandrels; light reddy-brown main border of continuous tree design.

Triple pole medallion in camel and light blue on a terracotta field; dark blue spandrels and ivory medallion main border. Bright green details; the second, Afshar, Kerman area, south east Persia, circa 1930s, 4ft. 9in. X 3ft. 5in. 1.45m. X 1.04m. Overall wear; losses to ends. Dark blue centre step-sided medallion with similar inner medallion; animals and medallions in the terracotta spandrels and frame; narrow ivory border. (2)

Light red field with central dark blue/purply central medallion with ivory inner medallion; ivory, pale blue and dark blue-purply spandrels; all over flowers and foliage repeated in the dark blue/purply main border with pale blue and ivory floral guards. In good pile with robust handle.

Light red 'lightning' edged field with lobed camel centre medallion of herati design; dark blue spandrels of columns of conjoined flowerheads and medallions; mid-blue angular floral and medallion main border; narrow brocaded flatweave ends. The guls divided by chemche motifs, alternately light blue and dark brown; pale green inner border; hooked medallion main border with small flowering plants in the lower elem. Good range of colour including dark blue, light blue, bluey/green; aubergine/dark red. Tiny yellow and ivory details. Fine velvety wool.

Ivory cartouche shape field with light red and pale blue centre medallion, surrounded by arabesques of flowers and foliage; light red and dark blue spandrels; wide light red floral main border within ivory and dark blue floral guards; the outer dark blue guard with a later inset panel at the lower end inscribed Seirafian, Esfahan.
Kurdish runner, (reduced) west Persia, circa 1920-30s, 13ft. 3in. X 3ft. 1in. 4.04m. X 0.94m. Reduced in length by horizontal cut at lower end of field; over all wear with some crease marks. Blue/green field with six large ivory stepped medallions with flowerhead centres; many small filler ornaments including small birds; light red floral main border and blue/green and ivory narrow floral guards.
Fine Chichi rug, Kuba district, north east Caucasus, second half 19th century, 6ft. 4in. x 4ft. 1.93m. X 1.22m. Overall even wear; slight corrosion in places; few small surface marks. Dark greeny/blue field with typical Chichi horizontal rows of medallions; narrow ivory star and lozenge main border; dark red striped secondary borders; ivory ribbon inner guard; terracotta and pale yellow medachyl inner frame and terracotta and light blue medachyl outer border. Finely woven with close clipped velvety wool.
