Jonathan Richardson (1665-1745). Portrait of Dr Richard Lucas (1648-1715). Prebendary of Westminster. Born in Presteigne, Lucas was a Clergyman and writer of devotional works. He is buried in the South Transept of Westminster Abbey.This is possibly the painting that was later engraved by Gerard Vandergucht.Oil on canvas, no signature visible. The dress is two layered and has an asymmetric hem, with an overdress in sateen and an underskirt of nylon and tulle which is full length. The bodice and hem is edged in small cream beading detail.A full length 1970s-80s high waisted evening gown with a swathed chiffon bodice. It has a rose corsage under the bust line. It has a small train, and an asymmetrical full length tiered skirt of chiffon and nylon. An Edwardian lace blouse in a cream colour. The neckline is adorned in a lace ruffle, and the cuff has a light ruffle at the wrist. It fastens with a hook closure and a snap closure at the centre front. A 1930s decorative beach bag with folk embroidery style decoration done in wool thread. It has a pattern of flowers and leaves, and a female clown in the centre with a large petticoat skirt, all done in a rainbow of colours. It has two small wooden handles. A small 1970s beach bag with a woven folk embroidery style pattern on the front in lime green, black and white.A 1970s leopard print swimsuit with a black belt and a low neckline. The belt has a small diamante decoration on the centre. A 1940s blush pink linen blouse with short sleeves and a faux covered button closure down the front. It has hook and eye closures on the inside. The yoke has cutaway fagotting detail and a decorative tie around the neckline.A black leather belt decorated with shell-coloured sequins in a leaf and flower design. A 1970s ladies V neck jumper in navy blue. It has two patch pockets (9)
A pictorial illuminated window sign in the form of a key for ‘Birmingham Municiple Bank, Security with Interest’, framed 28cm x 42cm, a small sunburst lead panel and a pair of small leaded light panels stencilled HTG and inscribed ‘Thy hand Kindeth To Do It With Thy Sight', 39cm x 20cm, the other panel monogrammed GS and Roman numerals MCMXXXIX.
