A 19th Century Chinese porcelain blue and white meat plate painted with bamboo and flowers, together with two 19th Century Chinese porcelain plates CONDITION REPORTS Meat plate size approx 32 cm x 22.5 cm. Overall with some light general wear, some scratches where the wire has been attached, some small frits and chips around edges but otherwise appears sound. One plate with cracks and the other plate with large chunk broken from rim and re-glued and also with cracks. Size of plates approx 23 cm diameter.

A BACCARAT STYLE EIGHTEEN-LIGHT CRYSTAL AND ENAMELED GLASS CHANDELIERCirca 2000The crystal chandelier with baluster form central standard issuing the reverse painted basket above surmounted by three gilt accented crystal acanthus leaves and suspending a further reverse painted basket cut crystal composition of balustrades with ovoid center. Two tiers of nine scrolling twisted crystal arms emanate from a large footed bowl and terminate in cut crystal bowls with pendant crystals which support hand blown hurricanes with gilt scalloped edges and foliate etching. The arms joined by pendant crystal swags, surface wired to US standard. H 53 x Diam 41 inches.

Scarce Geo. G Bussey Demon Driver patent cork inlaid handle tennis racket c1920s – stamped “Demon Driver 1- Extra Light” with Bussey’s patent ‘Tensive-Grip’ cork inlaid handle c/w with ‘Wavy-wedge’ and chamfered head. The original black strings are absolutely perfect and the frame is stamped with the number 20673 It has nine rows of string trebling and a further square shaped strengthening around the centre of the string – and the original leather collar and makers leather butt cap – a superb example of an early racket which has hardly been played with and comes with full length racket cover
Interesting 1909 E M Grace Signed Letter – on Park House Thornbury, Gloucestershire letter headed and dated 22/06/1909, in relation to a Gibbs stating ‘Dear Gibbs, Have put you down for certain on July 5th and 28th with much pleasure, yours faithfully E M Grace’ with a fold to the centre, light markings, no tears and with a clear signature, overall G (1) Note: Dr Edward Mills Grace, brother of W.G. Grace was a formidable local cricketer, with his greatest feat in first-class matches was to score 192 and take 10 wickets in an innings in the same match – MCC v Gentlemen of Kent in 1862
