PAOLO VENINI ZANFIRICO FOR MURANO GLASS; three handkerchief bowls raised on associated stands, with lattice canes, height of bowl 8cm, diameter of saucers 19cm (6).Additional InformationThe green bowl has an associated base, the pedestal bowl with light blue colour with large sliver chips to the foot rim. General wear throughout, light scratches and scuffs.

The Sommerso glass with a tiny chip to the foot rim edge.

Additional InformationLight wear, craquelure, possible areas which have been repainted, but good condition not obvious faults.
A late 19th century carved ivory plaque of rectangular form with carved detail in the 17th century-style with triumphal entry scene, 10.5 x 18cm.Additional InformationThe piece is slightly bowing, there are a couple of cracks which do go through and light can be seen when the piece is held up. The bottom corner has been smoothed, one large crack is running across the top. Please note that we do not weigh ivory, it is sold on its artistic merit only.

Light rubbing to the gilding on the handles.

KINKOZAN; a good Japanese Meiji period Satsuma vase of slender tapering form decorated with a cricket upon a Chrysanthemum with a spider's web beneath, signed to base, height 24.25cm.Provenance: From a private Worcestershire collection.Additional InformationSome rubbing to the gilding around the rim, also some further rubbing to the gilding noticeably around the spiders web, light crazing which is staining brown towards the foot and also in parts to the body.
KOZAN; a Japanese Satsuma bowl internally painted with opposing panels of landscape and figures beside the landscape interspersed with floral bands and with a continuous figural painted exterior panel, signed to base, diameter 12.5cm.Provenance: from a private Worcestershire collection.Additional InformationSome rubbing to the gilding, noticeably around the rim, but also the blue cobalt lower band clearly should have had gilding to this section as you can see traces beneath that has now been virtually rubbed away, light crazing throughout.

Under UV light, nothing else shows up.
A good and large Japanese Meiji period Satsuma ovoid vase decorated with a continuous procession beneath hanging lanterns, signed to base and with painted Imperial mon to base, height 27cm.Provenance: From a private Worcestershire collection.Additional InformationMinor rubbing to the gilding, there is a little bit of surface dirt which appears to be where a sticker has possibly been in the past. There is light crazing and you might expect and some staining to the inside but overall a good example.

There is a small rough area to the underside of the handle. Minor gilt rubbing throughout and light surface wear.

One example with staining to the body and very minor nibbles to the internal rim.Koro measure 34cm excluding bases and 37cm inclusive of bases.
A cased set of six Japanese Meiji period Satsuma buttons, each decorated with an exotic bird and with white metal backings inscribed with a mon, set to a piece of fabric within a simple wooden box, diameter 34mm.Additional InformationThey are in good condition, with just light tarnishing to the white metal.
