WW2 German Army Officers Dagger with Hanging Straps, with dark orange celluloid grip, pommel and ferrule with oakleaves relief, cross guard in the form of German army eagle. Housed in its original scabbard with two hanging rings. Attached to the scabbard are a pair of officers shortened brocade dress hangers with metal clip fittings. Unmaker marked plain double edged blade with some light surface staining. Blade 25 ½ cms, overall 40cms. Nicotine patina to the exterior and hanging straps.
WW2 German Reichskriegsflagge (Battle Flag), fine example of a printed red cotton battle flag with central swastika and Iron Cross to the corner. Taped edge stamped with makers details ‘Lorenz Summa Sohne Oberkotzau’. Inked marine acceptance eagle over ‘M’ mark and size stamped ‘Kr. Fl 80 x 135’. Some very light wear but generally a good example.

Rare Battle of Britain Period Luftwaffe Schwimmweste (Life Preserver), good example of a yellow rubberised canvas cloth with cloth tie straps and metal rings. This is the early full back type which was favoured by both Luftwaffe and RAF pilots who used captured examples as they believed they were of superior quality to the Air Ministry issue examples. Complete with the original inflation tube and brass oxygen bottle to the lower section. The interior has the original issue label with stamping for ‘SWp 734’, ‘Fl 30154’ and dated 1.10.39 (1st October 1939). Some light wear and fading but generally a very good example of a desirable item of Luftwaffe equipment.

WW2 British Made USAAF Officers Peaked Cap, fine example of a standard USAAF officers peaked cap with gilt metal eagle cap insignia, thick brown leather chinstrap supported by two gilt side buttons and brown leather peak. Interior with original sweatband, cloth lining with tailors diamond to the inside of Lewis. Some light areas of moth damage to the reverse but generally a good example of a British tailored peaked cap.
Third Reich Hitler Youth Boys Dagger by Tiger Solingen, good example with two piece chequered grips having enamel HJ diamond emblem to the centre. Plated pommel and cross guard. Housed in its original scabbard with leather belt loop and securing strap. 1st pattern blade with motto ‘Blut und Ehre!’ and reverse with Tiger Solingen makers trade mark. Leather washer between blade and cross guard still present. Some light wear to the blade. The blade measures 13 ½ cms, overall 25 ½ cms.
WW1 German Model 98/05 Sawback Mauser Bayonet, good example with two piece wooden grips, steel pommel and cross guard. Housed in its steel scabbard with the original leather bayonet frog attached with its original cloth trodel (knot) attached to the frog. Sawback swollen blade with fuller to the back edge. Blade by Simson & Co Suhl. Spine with crown over W 15 and acceptance stamp. Blade 36 ½ cms, overall 52cms. Some light surface rust to the scabbard but otherwise a good example. WW2 German Kriegsmarine Officers Dress Dagger by F W Holler Solingen, generally good example of a naval officers dagger with white celluloid grip having wire binding. Gilt brass eagle pommel top and cross guard with fouled anchor to central cartouche and press button release stud. Attached to the grip is a officers bullion dress knot / portepee. Housed in its standard brass scabbard with two hanging rings. Double edged polished blade with sailing ship etching. Makers trade mark to the base of the blade. Small area of surface staining near the tip but otherwise the blade is in good condition. Blade measures 25cms, overall 41 ½ cms. Some polishing to the exterior fittings, small crack and light scratches to the grip.

Complete with Victorian crowned shako badge, brass plume socket holder with green wool ball pom-pom. Bronzed side badges in form of Garter star to the centre. Soviet Russian Oil Painting by Valentine Sergeevich Smirnov, delightful small oil on board painting showing a young Russian soldier lighting a cigarette over candle light. 24 ¾ x 14cms. Smirnov was born in 1927. He studied at the Kiev institute until 1955. He was an active painter in Kiev. Provenance: Warner Dailey Collection
WW1 Period British Generals ‘Gor Blimey’ Peaked Cap, fine example of a privately tailored WW1 period officers service dress peaked cap in the ‘Gor Blimey’ pattern. Cap has the original cloth strap with brown painted metal circular loops. Red central felt band with fine quality bullion embroidered army generals cap insignia to the centre. Four vent holes to the rear of the cap. Interior has typical WW1 style quilted cloth circular pattern lining. Cap shows some light wear but generally is a very good example of this pattern of cap from the Great War period.
Victorian Volunteer Battalion Highland Light Infantry Officers Shoulder Belt Plate, fine example with a seeded back plate having overlay in the form of white metal facetted star with gilt metal crown above strung bugle having HLI to the centre, blank lower scroll for Volunteer battalion and elephant. Reverse with two hooks and two stud fittings. A very good example overall.
Rare Third Reich Hitler Youth Unit Flag, fine example of a large Hitler Youth rectangular flag with separately applied swastika to the centre in diamond form. Chain stitched black on white Bann (unit) number panel to the corner of both sides for ‘8/331’. Original metal fixing rings with RZM stamps to one side. Some light stains but generally a very good example of a scarce flag. Measures 167 x 110cms.
Copy of a French Napoleonic Period Imperial Guard Pattern Light Cavalry Troopers Sword, regulation curved single edge blade etched Mfure Nale De Klingenthal Coulaux freres Entreps, regulation brass stirrup hilt, brass wire bound leather covered grip, in its brass scabbard with a pair of open panels filled with black leather (slightly shrunk) , twin iron suspension rings and large iron chape. Blade 85cms. Good condition with age wear overall, some dents and dings to scabbard, a little insignificant active rust to tip of blade. Good quality copy of this early sword

Short pattern peak with bullion wire. Knotted braid and knot to the top. Interior with tan leather sweatband and quilted crimson lining with remains of gilt tooled tailors details. Victorian 39th West York Rifle Volunteers Officers Quilted Shako 1869-78, good example of a black cloth body shako with patent lower band and thin band to the top. Crowned blackened shako badge with strung bugle having 39 to the centre and strap with ‘WEST YORK RIFLES’. Black wool pom pom. Leather sweatband and crimson quilted lining to the interior. Thin leather chinstrap. Some wear and light mothing to the body of the shako. Good example.
WW2 German Land Customs Officials Field Cap, interesting example of a light green wool M-43 style field cap with dark green piping to the crown. Single button front. Aluminium land customs cap eagle. Interior with a black quilted lining and a green leather sweatband. Some staining and wear to the interior of the cap.

British 3rd Pattern Commando Knife, being one piece ringed grip with brass pommel nut. Stamped ‘1’ to pommel. Blackened oval cross guard. Housed in its original leather scabbard with brass bottom chape. The leg tabs have been removed from the scabbard. Complete with the belt loop frog with the elasticated cloth being replaced by a leather strap with brass stud fitting. The name 'M.COLATO' scratched into the belt loop frog. Double edged blade with medial ridge. Some light evidence of sharpening to the edge. Blade 16 ½ cms, overall 32cms.

Queens South Africa Medal 4th Battalion the Durham Light Infantry, with two clasps, Cape Colony and South Africa 1902. Medal with impressed naming, “4410 SERJT: J. RICHARDSON DURHAM L.I.” Broach marks to the obverse of the medal, suspender and clasps have been reaffixed at a later date. Medal and both clasps confirmed on the 4th Durham Light Infantry roll.

WW2 German Army Afrikakorps (D.A.K) Pith Helmet, good example of a 2nd pattern tropical helmet in olive felt with a darker brown central band and olive leather covering to the brim. Complete with both metal helmet shield decals. Original olive leather chinstrap attached to the helmet. Helmet is complete with an original pair of WW2 dust goggles. Interior with green lining to the underside of the shell, tan leather sweatband and red felt interior. Underside of the sweatband with ink stampings. One small area of light damage to the peak but otherwise a very nice example.
WW2 Japanese Officers Dirk, with brass mounted hilt, shallow “S” shaped cross guard, floral pommel top, fish skin grip with floral stud and wire binding. Housed in its original brown leather brass mounted scabbard with two suspension rings. Polished plain blade with some light nicks to areas of the edge. Blade measures 21cms, overall 41cms.
WW2 German Kriegsmarine Harbour Pilots Flag, good large white cotton flag with central red rectangle and swastika to the centre. Complete with taped edge having machine embroidered manufactures label and rope with metal clip fitting. Top corner with inked details of the British veteran who brought the flag home as a souvenir in 1946. Some light scattered moth and a stitched repair but generally good untouched example. Measures 198 x 112cms. Flag was brought home from Germany by the vendors uncle after the war as a souvenir of his service.
Good Japanese WW2 Army Officers Sword Katana, earlier blade, 66.9cms, mumei, 3 mekugi ana, blade cut with a single hi, blade cleaned bright over some light pitting, scratching and shallow edge chips, in shin gunto mounts dress knot in its iron scabbard with leather combat cover. Good condition.
Interesting WW2 Japanese Army Officers Sword Katana, blade 66.6cms, signed and dated on opposite sides of the nakago together with seki arsenal stamp, a further deep stamp, and 3 characters in red paint, pronounced gunome hamon, fair polish, surface with some minor wear and light pitting, in shin gunto mounts, in its wooden scabbard with leather combat cover. Good condition.
