Antique Tunisian 9K enamel brooch 'en tremblant' with rose cut diamond. Probably a wedding gift. The blue enameled swallow and flower are set on a spring. The leaf veins have a lighter blue enamel and the ears of corn are set with rose cut diamonds in a closed setting. Set with 41 rose cut diamonds of which the largest is approx. Ø 3.8 mm (chips). In reasonable condition, a new layer of dark blue enamel has been placed over the light blue lucid enamel and one spring no longer functions properly. Hallmarks: Tunisian assay marks rooster 9 - 19K (1917-1940), including a promulgation mark from 1940. L x W: 11 x 5 cm. Weight: 30.51 grams.

Silver fruit knives (6), Johan Philip Dell, Amsterdam ca. 1800. A beautiful set of six fruit knives with ribbed decorated handles. The hallmarks are partly faded, but this model can be traced back to the maker J.P. Dell from Amsterdam. This can be seen from the Amsterdam city hallmark which can be traced back to one of the knives and a slightly visible maker's mark starting with i in exactly the same style as Dell's maker's mark (see photos). The letter P starts next to the i, which also follows in the Dell hallmark. The handles are filled and the blades were later replaced (stainless steel).
