Various cracks and splits to the top, various impressed marks, light scratches, dark marks, etc throughout. Both sides with various splits. Large split to right side from top to bottom. Splits to drawer fronts and repair to top left drawer including around handle. Repairs to bottom drawer. Wear and tear. Brushing slide has splits, Splits to bottom boards of drawers.

A collection of various lamps to include two Powell & Hanmer, a Lucas King of the Road No. 31, a Hackel, various rear lights, dynamoes, etc CONDITION REPORTS One Powell and Hammer light glass is broken. Bodies on both are worn and battered. Paint is flaking on all lamps. Lucas King of the Road - glass has several bits missing to the edges and has flakes or chips missing. The Hackel lamp appears to have been re-painted. There is rusting to the metalware. All items are used. Some appear to have been re-painted, others have been restored over the years. An Anton Kessel violin, a violin bow with ivory and mother of pearl inlaid frog and bearing ownership stamp "SB Prommer", a sarcophagus shaped rosewood violin case, together with two framed prints CONDITION REPORTS Case with various scratches, chips, etc, mechanism probably does not work, wear and tear. Violin missing strings, bridge is off, no tuning pegs, small chips, worn section, rubbed sections, impressed marks, light scratches. Length of back of the violin 14". General wear and tear.
A George II silver baluster shaped mug with scrollwork handle raised on a circular foot (by Thomas Whipham London 1755) 6.35oz, together with eleven various silver spoons / butter knives, and a plated butter knife, 5.3oz total CONDITION REPORTS Mug - some small dents throughout, light scratches, base of the handle has been resoldered, impressed marks, foot is slightly out of circular, foot has possibly been off and resoldered, 1/2 pint sized, general wear and tear. Spoons etc - general wear and tear, scratches, etc. Ther are no dog nosed spoons in this lot.

The plaque - some chips mainly to the edges, some light scratches, general wear and tear. Tray with compass - various scratches, nibbles, chips some knocks, dents etc throughout, split to the top where rim meets side, general wear and tear. Cavalry soap box - lid very tight, wear to base, some rust, loss of paint. Small treen box - lid missing one of the sides with splits and cracks to top, interior is missing one of the sides and one of the interior compartments missing, various splits, chips, nibbles etc throughout. Greyhound - is off its base, various wear and tear. Larger treen box - one hinge missing, one hinge badly damaged, various chips and losses throughout, general wear and tear. Cat tin - some wear and tear Fourteen plates - generally good, some light scratches, some brown stains, general wear and tear. All items with wear and tear.

1815 Waterloo Medal, Trooper John Hughes, 12th Prince Of Wales Light Dragoons. John Hughes Served With The 12th Light Dragoons At Salamanca And Victoria During The Peninsular Wars. Hughes Later Served Under Lord Wellington At The Battle Of Waterloo, Where The 12th Lead The Charge Of Vandeleur's Cavalry Brigade. Nearly A Third Of The Men Of The 12th Became Casualties. Hughes And His Captain, Edwyn Sandys, Were Among The Wounded. Sandys Succumbed To His Injuries Shortly After The Battle. The Colonel Of The 12th, Frederick Ponsonby, Was Also Grievously Wounded But Survived. Hughes Was Pensioned In September 1827.
