General light scratches, marks etc. Some dirty type marks, some scruffs. General signs of wear and tear throughout.
A 19th Century Copeland and Garrett cabinet plate, the centre field with hand-painted decoration "Civita Vecchia", within a gilded border, bearing transfer decorated mark with crown and wreath of symbols of The Empire, No'd. 7547, together with another similar entitled "Temples of Poestum", bearing mark for Copeland circa 1851-85 and No'd. 7547 CONDITION REPORTS Light surface scratches to both plates. Wear to the top of the plate in the areas where the plate is ridged. Areas of loss and wear to the gilt work on both plates. A Doulton Lambeth jardiniere decorated with various fish marked '8797' to base, together with a modern Dresden desk stand with two inkwells raised upon a tray decorated with floral sprays, a modern Dresden figure or a lady seated, reading music etc (14) CONDITION REPORTS Some light surface scratches, accretions, slightly dirty inside. A collection of Devon Motto ware to include a large teapot marked "No place on earth so pleases me as dear old Salcombe by the sea" and assorted items to include jugs, mugs, cheese dish, tea cups, saucers, sugar bowls etc (90) CONDITION REPORTS The large teapot has areas of crazing, light surface scratches, accretions, build up of dirt in areas. The teapot lid has substantial areas of loss and there are small chips to the lip at the top of the teapot. General wear and tear commensurate with age and use. The rest of the Devon Motto ware - the majority have crazing, surface scratches, accretions, small chips to the majority of pieces, general wear and tear on all items commensurate with age and use. A wrought iron and marble top garden table and set of six painted metal chairs with lattice seats and knop decoration to backs CONDITION REPORTS The marble top has soem light surface scratches, scuffs, a chip to one of the sides, some staining and discolouration. The wrought iron base shows signs of rust in places, scuffs, scratches, areas of the paint flaking. All chairs have areas of rust and areas where the paint is flaking. An Alan Caiger-Smith for Aldermaston bowl of faceted form decorated with birds amongst reeds, together with a Wedgwood casserole pot, the handle as a rabbit and the body decorated with various game, together with a glass vase with red scrraffito decoration, indistinctly signed, together with assorted further Studio Pottery wares etc (14) CONDITION REPORTS The height of the red scrraffito vase is approx. 29cm. Majority of pieces of pottery have crazing, accretions, light surface scratches. One of the Alan Caiger-Smith Aldermaston goblets has a substantial crack from one side of the goblet to the other all the way through. Also there are two small chips to the base of the second Aldermaston goblet. The Wedgwood casserole dish has a small chip to the underside of the lid. The Aldermaston jug has a crack from the rim approximately 3 inches down one side. General wear and tear on all items commensurate with age and use. See photos for details.
A Royal Copenhagan Flora Danica plate decorated with floral spray in a gilt decorated and pierced border, together with a Lladro figurine of girl, a further similar figurine and a collection of Royal Worcester tea cups and plates No 7783 decorated with floral sprays CONDITION REPORTS The diameter of the plate is approx. 22.5cm. Royal Copenhagan plate has light wear conducive with age and use to include some scratching and dust. Royal Worcester saucers all have general wea and tear, light surface scratching etc. Cups all have crazing to them, discolouration and staining. Most have hairline cracks, all have general wear and tear to include surface scratches, wear to the enamel, gilding etc
A pair of Franz Anton Bustelli for Nymphenburg "Bust of a little boy" and "Bust of a little girl" Nos 928 and 929 in blanc de chine CONDITION REPORTS The model of the girl is approx. 26cm in height and approx. 14cm wide. The model of the boy is approx. 25.5cm in height and approx. 15.5 width. Estimated date is mid-20th Century. Light surface scratches on both pieces. There is a very small crack to the base of the bow on the back of the male bust on each side. General wear and tear commensurtate with age and use - see images for details
Two Chinese pale celadon glazed figures of recumbent goats with oxide red highlighting, un-marked CONDITION REPORTS To both goats, damages and losses to the ears throughout. One ear completely missing, various chips and cracks, crazing, especially prevelant to one goat. Appears to be light chips to the glaze to the horns of one goat. Near East.- Jerusalem.- Wilson (Capt. Charles W.) Ordnance Survey of Jerusalem, portfolio of plans only, 5 large folding engraved maps, dissected and mounted on linen, edged in blue cloth, all with printed label on verso, some light spotting and soiling, mostly to versos, a little staining to linen backs, small hole to plan of Jerusalem at centre of folds but no loss to maps, with an additional folding map (also on linen and edged in blue cloth but without label), loose as issued with lists of Contents to vol.1 & 3 (soiled & stained) in contemporary half roan folder with flap, title mounted on front pastedown and list of plates on inside of flap, rather worn, folio, 1865. ⁂ The plans portfolio from Wilson's epic survey, the first modern cartographic and archaeological survey conducted in Palestine and undertaken on behalf of the Water Relief Committee with the intention of providing a street-by-street guide to Jerusalem's wells, conduits, cisterns etc. Wilson went on to become a key member of the Palestinian Exploration Fund, involved in several futher surveys in the Middle East. Comprising: Plan of Jerusalem, with Contours; Plan of Jerusalem, Hill Shaded; Plan of the Church of the Holy Sepulchre (2, one without label); Plan of Kubbat as Sakhra, the Citadel, &c.; Plan of the Haram, with Contours. The additional map is a revised version of the plan of the Church of the Holy Sepulchre of 1892.

London.- Kronheim (Joseph Martin) A Description of the Colosseum as Re-Opened in M.DCCC.XLV. ..., 6 wood-engraved plates and several illustrations, 8 embossed plates printed in colours from stereotype plates by Kronheim and embossed by Dobbs, Bailey & co., each with facing key plate printed in brown, some light spotting (generally to plate versos), original green cloth, royal arms in gilt on upper cover, slight bumping to corners and extremities, [Abbey, Life 569], small oblong 4to, 1845.? Rare. The embossed plates depict the original London panorama visible at the reopened Colosseum, alongside several new attractions such as the Gothic Aviary and the Stalactite Cavern.

There are a few fox spots (very light) and the paper does not lie flat against its frame top left, otherwise in very good condition. Float mounted. Exhibited 1991. No3470.There is green ink near centre of the picture and the right hand side.
Two 19th Century Chinese blue and white ovoid vases, both decorated with figures in a landscape, 10cm and 9.5cm. CONDITION REPORT: Vase 1, vase has an artemesia leaf to the base, lid is good but a small chip to the inside lip of the lid, Body is in good condition.Vase 2, no mark to the vase, but it appears to be in good condition, lid has a large chip to the inside rim.Both vases have not been inspected under UV light.
Set of twelve Chinese 19th century paintings on pith paper depicting the tea making process, each framed and glazed, approximately 15cm x 23cm CONDITION REPORT: Generally very good condition, there are titles to all the pictures, hand written (at a later date).Picture 1 Two male figures carrying boxes, has a faint crease in the left hand corner and a few tiny brown spot and paper looks different in the left hand corner.picture 2 Three male figures, two with boxes and one with scroll, small cracks in the paper on the left side and very faint brown foxxing on the right.picture 3 Three women sitting on tea boxes, paper has light indents all over and one or two small Scratches picture 4 Two men looking at tea boxes, Overall in fairly good condition except two creases on the right and some marks coming form the other side of the paperpicture 5 Two men in the tea leaf fields, a small crack under one mans foot.picture 6 Three men- two standing in boxes of tea, few light indents on the paper and top left has small crack in the paper.picture 7 Four men, two drinking tea, two serving the tea, overall good condition, a few faint in dents and pale marks in three of the four cornerspicture 8 Two women picking tea, a few small cracks in the top of the paper and two small chips of paint scartched away.picture 9 Two men and one women in a field, few paint marks couple of chips.picture 10 Two women sitting and one man, slight creases round the edges and one tiny fox mark on the bottom right.picture 11 Two men in tea field, one small crease and one or two fox marks.picture 12 Two men hetaing tea over a fire, paper is very slightl;y browned and then a few scratches.
G MENEGATTI; a late 19th/early 20th century pietra dura rectangular plaque depicting a standing cavalier, with scratched and gilt signature to lower right, 30.5 x 21cm, in ebonised decorative frame, possibly inspired by the paintings of cavaliers by Francesco Vinea. CONDITION REPORT: Two major diagonal cracks to the dark background and a few smaller cracks, a horizontal crack running from top to bottom of the light background along the natural inclusion with tiny loss in approximately 2/5 of the length, tiny chip to upper left corner of the same piece, area of dark inclusions with minor nibbles to the lines to the area of lower right corner, the figure appears in good condition apart from one area of possible restoration with residues of glue to the right side of the lower part of the buttons, a few areas of tiny cracks to external parts of pieces of the hat and tiny chip to one side of the plume, also a few very minor nibbling along the line of the ruff, some areas of natural inclusions particularly to the shoes, some surface dirt, residues of cleaning product, frame in good condition apart from areas of some rubbing to the raised central section and corners.
TROIKA; a cube vase decorated by Avril Bennet, height 10cm, and a wheel vase, height 12cm (2). CONDITION REPORT: Wheel vase; two small chips to top outer rim, some further nibbles to edges. Pot; fritting, abrasions and scuffs to glaze, particularly upper section. Both with light surface wear and usual manufacturing imperfections.
ROYAL WORCESTER; three hand painted fruit decorated vases, all signed lower right to include an inverted baluster example, height 10cm (3). CONDITION REPORT: Postage within the UK would be £18 + VAT. All with very light surface wear, very minor rubbing to gilt, some light pitting to glaze and usual minor manufacturing imperfections, tallest with minor loss to gilt at rim and scratches/abrasions to foot rim.
A mixed lot of ceramics to include a Royal Doulton hand painted and gilt decorated cabinet plate depicting the bay of Naples, diameter 26cm, a Worcester Flight, Barr & Barr porcelain cup and saucer with hand painted and gilt floral decoration, and a pair of Staffordshire pen stands (7). CONDITION REPORT: Both dogs extensively damaged and restored, cup and saucer heavily worn, Doulton plate with light wear/scratches and rubbing to decoration, remainder worn to varying degrees, scratches, rubbing, dirt etc, especially jasperware dish.
