Same family ownership for over 20 years.Condition Report:Canvas quite loose and uneven, would benefit from re-stretchering. Paint surface dirty but would clean easily. Some historic over-painting visible under UV light top-centre.

Gilbert Joseph Holiday (British 1879-1937): 'Almost a Fairy Tale' - Princess Chand of Bijapur, pastel signed titled and dated '32 verso (within the frame) 59cm x 46cm Provenance: an original commission for The Tatler magazine, stamped and numbered 1660 verso. Gilbert Holiday was an official war artist in the First World War, then later established himself as a prominent equestrian artist, and at one point shared a studio with Lionel Edwards. He worked as an illustrator for publications such as The Graphic, The Tatler, and the Illustrated London News, and competed in the art competition at the 1932 Summer Olympics.Condition Report:Some light foxing in the sky, fading along the bottom edge

Light overall craquelure, slight horizontal stretcher mark along the top. May benefit from a light clean.
A Chinese mother of pearl shell carving depicting a battle scene with a background of buildings in a mountainous landscape, approximately 18 cm x 20 cm.Condition Report: Good condition overall, a few light nibbles to the top edge, there is a hairline crack extending from a natural flaw approximately 5cm (l) with some flaking around this on the reverse.
Dolls House - An Art Deco style dolls house. The blue and white four storey dolls house, comes with two occupants and a 'Collie' dog, and measures approximately 96cms (H) x 51`cms (W) x 40cms (D) and features three front opening sections which reveal illuminated rooms (one light appears not to be working) including bedroom, hall, kitchen / bedroom, and lounge area. The house comes furnished with items such as wardrobe, bed, cabinet, kitchen units, settee, chairs and similar. The house contains 'Clarice Cliff' style ornaments, and some items of furnishings from 'The Dolls House Emporium'. Overall the house appears to be in Excellent condition with signs of display and use.
