A 19th century French naval percussion cap pistol with 7" barrel and mounted on a dark stained stock and mounted with steel furniture, overall length 37cm.Additional InformationThis pistol fires from the half and fully cocked position. There is pitting to the barrel and further dulling to the lockplate and furniture. Light wear throughout the stocks with more significant nicks, scuffs and scrapes around the grip area. There are no apparent markings on the pistol.

When wound the watch appears to be running, light denting to the case. The buckle is also a replacement.

Light surface scratches throughout. Rubbing to the metalwork, the door pin has been lost and is replaced with a crude fitting at the moment. A couple of small chips to the corners of the bevelled glass on the back door. Dial appears ok.

Dial appears ok, with just light surface scratches. No guarantee to bee in working order. The frame is slightly loose.

With pendulum and key.  Enamel dial lightly grubby and with two hair line cracks running from the left winding aperture to the edge. case with general age wear tarnishing and grubby. Serves type mounts ok but with some rubbing to paint and gilding. Non-matching urns with age wear tarnishing / light marks to the surface, the bases with dust, wear to material and chips to edge.

***SECTION 1 FIREARMS LICENCE REQUIRED***ENFIELD; an 1880 pattern .303 Martini Henry underlever rifle, the 21" barrel set with bladed foresight and adjustable backsight and stamped D.P, the action stamped with crown cypher above VR and further stamped Enfield 1880 to the right hand side and bearing the same crown cypher to the left hand frame but dated 1894, and further inscribed 'M.M.303, A.C.III' bearing various inspection marks to the back of the breech, and set with a walnut stock, further stamped 'Enfield' and 'DP' and mounted with sling loops, overall length 95cm, SN:2104.Additional InformationThe stock has been re-lacquered at some point with previous blemishes visible through the new coating, Various scuffs, scrapes, stains, etc throughout the woodwork with further light surface pitting to the action side plate and minor signs of pitting to the external barrel. Although the item is stamped 'DP', this gun is a section 1 gun and does require a section 1 firearms licence.

A good mid Victorian walnut and ormolu mounted open bookcase of breakfront form, the moulded top above three banks of adjustable shelves with floral cast ormolu caps to a shaped plinth base, height 102cm, width 184cm, depth 43cm.Additional InformationDepth of middle shelves is 33cm, depth of side shelves 28cm. Shelves with general wear and off water mark through use. Top with light patina of light scratches to the varnish, nothing serious. Right hand side perhaps slightly sun faded. Metal mounts with general light tarnishing. General light scuffs and marks at the plinth. Overall good. No obvious wood worm.

GILLOWS OF LANCASTER; a good mid-Victorian figured walnut drum table, the gilt tooled leather top above four real and four faux drawers, one stamped 'Gillows Lancaster', raised on a ring turned central column to three substantial outwept supports with acanthus leaf capped feet, diameter 128cm, height 76cm.Additional InformationHeight to the base of the drum is 62cm. Leather with general light scuffs and marks through use but nothing serious. The drum with general light age wear but nothing serious. Overall of a good colour and appearance. The table was purchased by the vendor about ten years ago when it received a good re-polish.

The action may require some attention as the automatic safety catch is rather stiff and the top lever is a bit slow on the return once closed. Although the action remains tight and the woodwork only shows light signs of use with surface scuffs, scrapes, nicks, etc. Bears Nitro proof marks. Supplied in a brass bound brown leather breakdown case. Stock length 40cm.

***RFD BUYERS ONLY***An unusual best quality 12 bore single barrel underlever hammer gun, the 34" Damascus part octagonal barrel with 3" chambers, the action with simple foliate engraving and mounted on a checkered walnut stock with shield shaped poncoin to the underside, overall length 129cm, SN:NVN.Additional InformationThis id RFD buyers only as the barrel is unfortunately out of proof. The wall thickness on the barrel possibly suggests it would re-proof although no guarantees are made regarding this. The fore end has a chip to the right hand side where is meets the barrel. Further light surface wear visible throughout the stock and fore end. There is very light surface pitting to the barrel but overall very solid condition. Barrel choked at 1/4, length of pull 14.25".
