Lalique France, Moulded with a spiralling abstract pattern,20.3 cm diameter The rim is flat, not rounded, and has some tiny nicks and chips to the rim and some minor polishing. There is a vertical scratch about one centimetre long on the inside. There are a few tiny open bubble on the outside (how it was made), and some abrasions. Some light natural wear to base in keeping with age.

Note: Dating of this cigarette case is approximate and based on the tube map on the inside of the cover - no ‘York Road' Station, between Caledonian Road and Kings Cross Stations, it was closed in 1932 - and the map has 'Mark Lane' station next to Monument which was renamed Tower Hill in 1946. There are further scuffs and fleabites to the white base, mainly at the corners. There is a slightly more significant chip to the corner of the onyx slab, approx.3mm across. There is some light surface tarnishing and scratching to the metal rim of the timepiece itself, as well as general surface dirt. Light wear and light wear to base.Blue: short fine hairline on the underside on the rim. Some tiny nibble to the rim which you can feel more than see. Light wear to base.
